Family apartment, 4 bedrooms, playroom, large patio, for up to 9 or 10 people

Apartment in Amsterdam, district Old South (Oud Zuid), nearby Olympian sq. third and fourth floor, 5x8 patio.

3rd floor: Entrance (baroque style), On-suite kitchen and dining room, living. Master bedroom: king-size double, childs room 1+1p, bathroom with in bad shower, toilet. Children's bedroom for 2p. second floor, study, bed/playroom double bed plus 2 guestbeds and with balcony at front side. Study with exit to roof terraces (patio) 5x8m, with louncheset, dining table large bbq and playhouse for children, power/water outlet and light.

second bathroom with shower, washing machine, dryer and second refrigerator. second toilet.

2e floor is reachable over main stair house and internal stairs.

On suite with fireplace and large (8/16 pers) dining table. Stereo, LCD TV with cable available.

Kitchen: large refrigerator, 6 stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher. double doors to balcony with view on inner gardens. Tram stop 50m, World trade centre and train station 10 min walking, schiphol

Golf and Ski: Up to 7 Great Golf courses in the Amsterdam Area. (within 35km). closest just 15km.

Indoor ski facilities; 25 km. Look at the weblinks below.

Rental Boat: Canaltrip through Amsterdam can be arranged on our privateboat (with me as your captain), For our guests with special deal, 3 hours for only € 235,- that's a € 50,- discount. Our boat suits up to 10/12 people, has a coolerbench and toilet on board.

additional info: This is our private house so only available during summer holidays, when we are not in ourselves.

We do not acccept bachelor groups. No high heals can be worn in the house due to damage to the floor!!

We have a cat that normally stay's and has to be fed. (exceptions on this can be made on request).

Building has no lift. 4 adult bikes are available.

Extra guestroom can be booked on same floor as our second bed room/play room, this bed room belongs to our neigbors and is offered for an additonal charge of € 400,- /week booking,or € 75/night, it has a double bed and lot's of space.

Guestroom can be booked seprately, for a maximum of 4 people. You will have an own shower and toilet, watercooker and microwave, cooler/fridge, washing machine-dryer. No use of our kitchen. This room for 2 € 95 per night, for 4 € 150 (2 guestbeds)

Amsterdam famous because of the canals, musea (Van Gogh, Rembrand and Rijksmuseum, Anna Frank house and much more). Amsterdam Forest 10 min walking distance, North sea 30 min drive. Rent a boot to go through the canals, or a bike to discover the city! Amsterdam tram is easy and a cheap way to transport, tram stop just around the corner at 50m. Basic shops for food, magazines and clothing around the corner. Many fine restaurants in the district. 10 min by bike from the Leidseplein (square) and just outside the night-life so no disturbed nights.

We are 2 families who stayed here for a week. The house was fantastic and the owner was the most accommodating we have ever encountered. The photos and descriptions are accurate and help you to see how this home can become your home during a stay in Amsterdam. It is located close to the tram stop, so a perfect base for exploring Amsterdam without a car. The house includes everything you need to feel at home including a fantastic kitchen, large living room and plenty of toys for children. The “icing on the cake” is the outstanding rooftop terrace that is great both for adults and children. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. We would highly recommend this house to friends and family.

Big nice apartment with wonderful roof terrace

We were 7 ladies enjoying our stay in this 200 m2 apartment. We can for sure recommend this apartment for larger groups up to 9.
The owner, Johan, was very kind and helpful and welcomed us with a wonderful buquet of flowers.
All the photos and descriptions are correct and give a good impression of this clean and cosy apartment. A very nice kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The clou of the apartment is the very nice rooftop terrace with sun from early morning and until 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
The tram no. 24 very near to the apartment (100 meters) takes you right into the center of Amsterdam in 10 minutes. A supermarket and an excellent bakery is also very near.
You must have healthy legs to climb the steep stairs as the apartment is on 3rd and 4th floor with no lift.

Friendly owner, good appartment as expected

I would recommend this appartment for anyone who wants to enjoy Amsterdam. It is not so far from the RAI: around 20 min. walking.

The owner made everything for us to enjoy our stay: he proposed to pick us at the airport for only 20 euros. His welcome was very friendly, sharing a beer, offering a bottle of wine and a cake.

As indicated on the description, the appartment is on two levels. One large bedroom for the parents and two kid rooms on the main level and at the top there is a bedroom with an adult bed. Everything is clean. Good wifi. The balconi near the kitchen and the terasse on the top floor are nice.

Access to be aware: it is on the third floor and the steps are not large.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children

nice apartment for 8 friends

We are 8 friends who stayed here for 4 days and had a great time here. The house was fantastic. It was nice, clean and had plenty of space. All the photos and descriptions of the apartment are accurate. There were quite a few stairs for us to go up, but that is the norm in Amsterdam. The owner Johan, helped us with our bags and belongings.
The apartment includes everything you need. The best part is the outstanding rooftop terrace, where we had our breakfast.
The apartment is located close to the tram stop, so a perfect base for exploring Amsterdam without a car. We would highly recommend this apartment to everyone. We loved it.

Johan nous a accueilli avec une très délicate attention à l'aéroport. L'appartement est parfait, bien situé au pied du tramway. La terrasse est sympa ! Johan nous a fait découvrir sa ville à travers une ballade sur les canaux sur son bateau, exceptionnel ! Merci Johan pour cet accueil, cette qualité de services et cette gentillesse. Votre maison a vraiment été la nôtre pendant quelques jours, encore merci.
