Sea Shore is a very modern holiday property with Wifi internet access which has undergone extensive refurbishment over the years and occupies a superb elevated front line position on the site of the old Gwel Marten Hotel on Headland Road in Carbis Bay and just a short walk to one of the best beaches in England. The apartment boasts a fantastic private sea terrace which very few properties have and overlooks the immaculate gardens of Gwel Marten, providing glorious uninterrupted sea and beach views.

There is a large private covered parking space which is just a few seconds walk away and just a little further is the delightful Carbis Bay train station. It is just a short train ride into the centre of St Ives along the single track and the journey takes just a few minutes and follows a wonderfully scenic path along the coast. The train very popular with visitors and a great way of beating all the busy holiday traffic in St Ives.

Sea Shore is also located right on the doorstep of the South West Coastal Path so it is an ideal base to start your walk and is also just a short walk down the hill to the golden soft sands of Carbis Bay with its calm turquoise waters.

Internally the apartment is very spacious (1200 sq ft) with an extremely well equipped black gloss modern kitchen with breakfast bar and a more formal dining area positioned in the large bay window and making the most of the stunning views. The dining area and living areas are open plan and there are two very large luxurious three seat sofas where guests can relax and enjoy breathtaking sea views. There is a large flat screen television and a selection of DVDs and a modern contemporary feature fire place. The modern family bathroom is again very spacious and has a separate shower enclosure and with a separate bath. There are two large double bedrooms to the rear with both having flat screen Televisions. Linking the bedrooms to the front of the apartment is a really well designed galleried hallway which is 40 feet in length.

There is also has a very useful rear terrace also providing guests with a great outdoor storage area for bikes and surfboards.

In terms of local facilities, the nearest supermarket is a Tesco which is less than 5 minutes drive away off the main A3074 road into St Ives and where there is a great Costa Coffee which also has free wifi. There are also banks, hairdressers, a chemist, newsagents and general stores all a short walk away in the centre of Carbis Bay. During the day when on the beach there is a cafe and food outlet.

SEA SHORE APARTMENT, CARBIS BAY, ST IVES, CORNWALL

Absolutely Fantastic,
Sums up the apartment and the holiday.

The booking process was easy and the owner was easy to contact by phone and e mail and telephone.

Exactly what was described was what we got. The apartment was fabulous. Very clean and well maintained. Everything you could possibly need was there.Easy to park on arrival as you have your own space. The bedrooms were spacious and nicely decorated and both with digital freeview tvs. Well equipped kitchen which my wife loved and the living area well laid out with nice comfortable sofas and a small table and chair next to a large window. The bathroom was lovely with a lovely powerful shower too and a good size. The apartment was perfect in every way. Even supplied cds and dvds for all tastes for a lazy day or night in.

The views were amazing. Sitting watching the people walking along the beach which is only a 5 minute walk away or the boats passing was a delight. We were amazed at how close to the sea we were. A table and chairs just ouside to sit and have a meal or a glass of wine and to soak up a little sun was lovely.

There are several places to eat close by and a large Tesco supermarket 2 minutes drive towards carbis bay.

We used the apartment as a base as we did drive to places like land end, newquay, falmouth etc however there are trails for walking at the bottom of the garden next to the rail track which took you along the coast and they have fabulous views.

We had never been to Cornwall and loved it, we couldnt have found a more ideal property for our first holiday there. Sea Shore apartment will be somewhere we will come back too. We will reccommend it to our friends and family.

GREAT HOLIDAY

This was our second visit to this apartment each time the booking process has been very easy and clear. The contact with the owner was excellent.

We had a 2 week stay which we found the apartment to be very clean and modern. The views and location were fantastic!

The outside patio was a joy to use for all of our meals as you could watch the seals and dolphins playing in the bay.

The beach is only a couple minutes walk away which is ideal for families and the quaint train branch line into St Ives had some breath taking views and was very convenient as it can be tricky to park in the town in high season.

'GREAT HOLIDAY AT SEA SHORE'

'Great Holiday at Sea Shore'

Stayed at Sea Shore for 2 weeks in the July high season with the family and we really enjoyed our holiday despite the rather mixed weather. The location is out of this world and the views across St Ives Bay from the terrace are simply breathtaking. One of the big advantages of the apartment is that you have a very short walk downhill to the beach although its a bit of a climb back up and its lovely soft golden sands which the children really enjoyed. Its also a very short walk to Carbis Bay train station where you can hop onto the train and take the quick trip into the centre of St Ives so you can avoid all the traffic, we really loved taking this journey and although it lasts only a few minutes the train hugs the coastline and the views are again fantastic. Also your car park space located directly behind the apartment so its really convenient when unpacking all you luggage.

The apartment itself is very large and spacious and the kitchen is really well equipped for a holiday apartment meaning that you can cater with ease. The local Tesco is a short drive away so you can stock up with all those essentials. The lounge and dining areas have stunning views and the sofas very comfortable indeed! We found the cleaning to a very high standard and all our bed linen and towels were changed after our first week and the owners also provide you with a direct contact telephone number for the housekeeper during your stay which is a comfort and although we never needed to call, its a nice personal touch. We really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend this beautiful apartment to our friends...you will not find a better location anywhere!

Eine wunderschöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete und sehr saubere (!) Wohnung mit einem wirklich traumhaften Meerblick. Die eingestellten Bilder sind schön, die Wirklichkeit ist noch viel schöner. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise, alles war höchst professionell organisiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The apartment is situated on the lower ground floor and is accessed by walking down a flight of stone steps. There is seating on the front terrace with a table and chairs.
