Family Holiday

We have just recently come back from staying in Villa Chic and we had a fantastic time. We went with our 2 year old daughter and another couple with a small child. The children loved it there and the location was very quiet with a local shop across the road where you could get fresh rolls/bread and other essentials. The Villa was very clean/pretty and modern with a great BBQ area and plenty of sunbeds.
The airport is only 10 mins drive away (10-12 euros) which is a great.
The local village of Tias was very traditonally spanish with lovely boutiques and restaurants, but if you do have small children you will have to get a cab (only 4 euros) as it is impossible to walk especially with buggy's, PD Carmen is also lovely and much more lively with bars, restaurants, shops and a great beach, again difficult to walk but cab only 8 euro's. All the locals, including the cab drivers are very friendly with good english. The Chinesh Restaurant called 'New World' and also 'Lanis' were both great places to eat.
The pool was great and kept the children occupied all day but the only small problem we had was that it had no shallow end and was quite deep, you could only stand if you were 6ft or over, this was quite difficult as myself and the other mum could not swim alone with the children because we could not stand in the water to support the kids, which was a little frustrating at times. So if you have small children that can't yet swim make sure you invest in the rubber rings, floats etc to help along.
We would recommend Villa Chic to everyone, it was a lovely and safe place to spend our family holiday and will hopefully be returning next year!
