This luxury duplex vacation rental apartment covers an area of over 1,000 square feet. With patio doors leading onto a private terrace, the effect is one of light and space, with rich laminate floors, neutral colour schemes throughout, maple doors and chrome fittings. The apartment has previously been Four Star Rated by VisitBritain.

It is conveniently located a few steps from Northfields underground station on the Piccadilly line which serves Heathrow and Central London. It is perfectly located for all of London's attractions. Northfields has a friendly, village atmosphere and is in a vibrant, safe area of West London in the borough of Ealing - with its university, parks and tree-lined streets. There is an excellent range of small independent shops in the local area for fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood, bakery and organic produce together with a variety of restaurants, wine bars and pubs all within easy walking distance.

About Ealing: Ealing, known as 'the Queen of the Suburbs' is widely known because of Ealing Studios. These became famous for a string of comedy films in the 1940s and 50s including The Lavender Hill Mob. By 1912 the studios were the largest in England and they continue to be used today for film production. Some well-known films shot around Ealing include: The Importance of Being Earnest, Bend it Like Beckham, Calendar Girls, About a Boy, and Love Actually.

Northfields has an excellent range of shops and amenities. Within 5 minutes walk of the apartment there is a wide range of small independent shops including grocers, butchers, bakers, supermarkets, newsagents, hair dressers, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There are also several specialist shops where, for example, you can have shirts made-to-measure, have indian head massage, learn Thai cookery or make your own greeting cards. There are several beautiful parks within walking distance of the apartment.

A REAL HOME FROM HOME....DERWENT DUPLEX APARTMENT

We have stayed in this apartment on many occasions and it really does feel like a home from home. The place is always clean, well maintained and well stocked in terms of pots and pans, crockery, towels and bed linen etc. The apartment has all the creature comforts you could wish for, and has plenty of space for a family without feeling like you are on top of each other. There is even a well stocked library for those who like to read on vacation. The roof terrace is an added bonus, and great for sitting out and relaxing on a warm summer evening.
Vanessa is absolutely fabulous and always there to greet us when we arrive at the apartment, and also responds very quickly to any queries we may have?
There are lots of local shops, restaurants/takeaways all within walking distance, and there is a very handy supermarket right next door to the apartment block. There are two parks that can be easily reached on foot (Lammas Park and Walpole Park), both of which are family friendly.
The apartment comes with parking but given the location a car really isn't necessary. The apartment is a one minute walk to Northfields Tube Station, which is on the Piccadilly line, perfect for reaching Heathrow Airport or getting into Central London. The E2/3 bus stops are located very close by, giving you access to Ealing Broadway or Chiswick, and the 65 bus can be caught from South Ealing Road and this takes you to Kew Gardens, Richmond and Kingston.
We always enjoy our stay at Derwent Yard and it truly does feel like we are at home, rather than on vacation. We can't wait until our next stay later in the year.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends if they were planning a vacation in London.

FAMILY OF 5 HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THIS LOCATION

Excellent accommodations. Perfection location being next to the Northfields tube stop. Vanessa quickly responded to our emails and questions when making our reservation.

The apartment felt spacious and comfortable. It had numerous "extras" added including umbrellas, night lights, a first aid kit, extra sets of bed linens and towels, and various maps and guidebooks for our use. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with "helpful extras" like aluminum foil, salt/pepper, sugar, a large selection of pans and utensils and serving dishes for 10 persons.

The beds were comfortable. Our three teenage children enjoyed having their "own space" and the second bedroom was ample to accommodate them and all of their stuff !!

The neighborhood included a nearby grocery, a large selection of restaurants, that we walked to in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet. (Tube ride is 20 minutes from Heathrow, 20 minutes from downtown London.)

We highly recommend this location for anyone.

PERFECT PLACE TO STAY

We enjoyed our stay in London. The apartment was conveniently located
near the Northfield Station on the tube. It only took about 30 minutes
to arrive at most train stations for excursions to England's countryside
or downtown London.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with what we
needed. Vanessa was very helpful and directed us to the nearby shops
and restaurants, which were within a short walk.

We would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to enjoy London.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the apartment and, without doubt, wouldn't hesitate to book with Wright Apartments again. Customer service, attention to detail and the apartment itself were all second to none. Superb!

Having made an initial e-mail enquiry, I was made to feel that every aspect of my booking was important and I received personal service throughout. Everything possible was done to ensure my party, which consisted of people travelling from Devon and Somerset in the UK and also from Melbourne, Australia, was made to feel special, and valued.

The actual apartment provides everything needed, and more besides, to make it a real home from home. No one could possibly regret booking this apartment which provides an ideal base for exploring being located within 40 minutes tube journey to Piccadilly Circus and bus routes immediately outside the door.

Everything you need can be obtained within a few minutes walk of the apartment and, when it comes to enjoying an evening out, either hop on an E2 bus into Ealing Broadway or simply turn left on leaving the apartment to visit The Plough; a traditional pub serving excellent food and an amazing range of drinks. If you simply want a coffee or a glass of wine, turn right on leaving the apartment and head for Jacksons Wine Bar. The 'boys' will enjoy the visit as it shows live football and there are some lovely touches such as sandwiches served free of charge and everyone can enjoy the newspapers supplied for the use of customers, and the atmosphere. Worth a visit!

In conclusion, the location and the apartment itself are excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wright Apartments. Book with confidence!

Within 5 minutes walk of the apartment there is a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and several beautiful parks. You can walk along the Grand Union Canal to the River Thames.   • If cancellation occurs before the full payment has been collected, the amount is refunded less a £50.00 administration charge. Should cancellation occur within 28 days of arrival, refund is normally subject to re-letting of the property for the said period.

    Any special deals are advertised on the lowest rental rate. If the group consists of more people, a proportional discount will be given to the 4 person, 5 person or 6 person rental rate. Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
