The rooms highlight natural textures and products from local artisans. This unit is on the main floor for easy access, and includes a washer and dryer for your personal use. In Eastsound Village you will find all you need -- the farmer's market, bookstore, kayak rentals, bicycles, grocery, natural foods, boutiques, gift shops, and more. In fact, you don't even have to bring a car! Skip the ferry lines and pack light, take a shuttle or taxi to Eastsound, and the rest of your trip is easy. Feel free to ask us for any other special details you may desire for your get-away. Simply the perfect spot for your Orcas Island adventure! A relaxing getaway.

Overall it was great. We have a small dog who enjoyed the fenced yard area. I could write tons about how good it all was. Also such a nice location regarding getting out to eat etc. I only have two small suggestions. The fridge is NOISY. It was so loud even with the bedroom door closed we had to turn it off the last two nights. The only other thing is just a small suggestion. Some small entertainment items like playing cards, backgammon, or a crib board would be nice. Maybe even a thrift store puzzle or two. Just a thought. Maybe a couple teaspoons as the big spoons are too big for coffee but that’s a small thing no pun. All in all we had a nice time and enjoyed the place very much. Oh one last thing. We noticed a trail of tiny ants coming from behind the fireplace. I vacuumed them up and that helped. We would definitely recommend your place.

We have been on Orcas Island for many decades (in fact Wally grew up here!), so know the island well. We can suggest not only popular travel adventures, but little know gems on island backroads.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property for love of the historic Porter Building, located next door. For years this portion was vacant, occupied by a parking lot and dumpsters. We dreamed of beautifying the shoreline, dedicating a beach access to the public and building stairs to the water. At last we've completed our vision with the 'Main Street Station.' SeaStar Lofts allows us to welcome travelers to our favorite place in the world.

What makes this property unique

Sipping coffee or a glass of wine on the patio, breathing in that clear island air, and contemplating the view! We also love wandering around the village, hiking in the Turtleback Mountain Reserve, and exploring Moran State Park. We know many of the restauranteurs in town and there are a remarkable number of delicious options for an evening out.
