It's cheaper to book through me than my Property Management Company. It is a $100 per day (7 day min), $95/day for 2 weeks, $90/day for 3 weeks & $85/day for a 30+ day rental. There is a out cleaning fee of $150 plus normal State of Hawaii Hotel taxes (approx. 13.416%) with a $35 reservation fee and that’s it!
Beautiful location for this 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a partial ocean view (from the bedroom & patio). 810 Sq. Ft. King size bed. Both bathrooms have showers. 500 yards from the sand. Balcony patio area with dining table. Kitchen equipped with stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator. Included also is.....Central A/C (in the master bedroom ONLY), ceiling fans to keep you cool, and washer and dryer inside the unit to keep your clothes clean.
This unit is a nice. It is a little dated but very clean & we take care of it (especially when there are any problems). I have a handyman that takes care of issues usually within 48 hours (in case the need should arise). You'll have a great time in Kauai & if you read my reviews, I respond quick & I'm easy to deal with. I like my travelers/vacationers to be the same way! :)

I love Kauai because it is NOT as busy as the other islands & it is way more laid back. The island pretty much shuts down @ 9p but that's ok because that's midnight California time anyways.

I love renting mopeds when I go & prefer that to a car. It makes you really feel like you live there but don't get me wrong we still look like tourists. I try to make it out to the islands at least once a year, but work & being busy sometimes stops that from happening. I just love the island lifestyle & one day when the kids are all grown up, I am going to live there on a more permanent basis. But for now, I just remember the good times I have when we go & can't wait for the next time!
The property is located about 300-500 steps from the beach. You have free usage of the Hotel facilities next door which include their swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa center (there may be a cost for that), and their fun water slide. Each Thursday they have free mai tais and a free 45 minute hula show around 5pm I believe it is. The condo is close to Wal-Mart, Costco, and the airport (all approx. 2 - 3 miles away).

Close to the water. Longest stretch of beach on the island of Kauai & in the entire State of Hawaii. You can walk for miles.
Amazing find in Kauai! Fred is a gracious, accessible host and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday vacation at his condo. We could always reach him via email/ text or phone. The 2nd floor corner unit provided great views and ventilation. Expecting much more activity during the holiday season, we were pleasantly surprised by the tranquil, quiet ,uncrowded and secure setting of this villas. The fountains in the lagoons added to the relaxing environment. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. There was always free parking available and condo had every amenity ! Kitchen was fully equipped,lanai restful and large.Beach toys, chairs, coolers, towels were an added plus. What a value for the cost.!!!! Free internet was fairly speedy and consistent. The condo itself is roomy and comfortable for an extended stay. Washer and dryer is very handy and in a good location. There is lots of space in the bedroom accommodating a king size bed and plenty of room for an air matteras for additional guests in the main room. The second bathroom came in handy! Fred has provided a great library to enjoy and there are games in the guest closet. The condo furniture is comfortable . The villa office has numerous DVD's for use as well and tennis equipment for loan. They provide activities, if you are inclined. The villa office girls are very helpful and will NOT pressure you w. timeshare presentations. The convenience of lots of hangars/ ironing board/iron are appreciated in the unit. We found the food at the adjoining resort to be average and pricey, but the grounds are beautiful, esp at night w/ the waterfalls, torches, swaying palms, firepit and outdoor dining to be worth the cost. The restaurant offers a small discount on meals for villa guests, but you must ask for it. The pools gets busier at the resort, but the villa pool is quiet and has showers and facilities and shade . The hot tub at the villa pool was inoperative during our entire stay unfortunately, but there are 2 hot tubs as the resort available.
Fred has plans to replace the front door that is badly warped and attend to some minor repairs,soon.
We found this location to be perfect if you have plans to visit all around the island. Staying out of Kappa is a plus, since the traffic there is extremely annoying. We are retired and enjoying our traveling years Finding this condo and rental experience was a gem in paradise and we would recommend it 100%!
Fred was a great host! He was easy to contact and had a quick response time. He made our reservations go smoothly. He also gave us a lot of tips for places to visit and things to do. We have stayed at the Kauai Beach villas before and knew we wanted to be in this location again. It is in the center of the island, 10 minutes at the most from the airport and easy to find. The resort driveway is lined with HUGE banyan trees. This resort is quiet and peaceful and right on the ocean. We woke up every day to watch the sunrise on what I think is the most beautiful beach in Kauai to do so. The condo had everything we needed and the balcony has a small view of the ocean. It also sits right in front of the lagoons, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. My husband too many time lapses with his Go Pro from the balcony of the sunrise and resort. This condo area is not crowded or loud, we never had a problem with noise or parking. There are a few things I would change though. The condo could really use a fresh coat of paint as it seemed a little yellowed and dingy. The bathroom could also use updating, or at least new fixtures. We had difficulty opening the screen doors, particularly the bedroom one, as it always fell off the track or got stuck. It needs a new front door, it was difficult to push open and close because of the humidity and salt air I believe. When we first arrived, the condo smelled a little musty, but this went away after the first 48 hours, as the condo may have sat closed up for a short while before we arrived. On the upside, the king size bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and then some, the furniture was nice and comfortable, and the lanai was relaxing. I would still rent this condo again because Fred was such a great host, the location is central, the resort property is amazingly beautiful and filled with tropical flowers and foliage, and overall the condo had just what we needed. Also, the price is SO worth the value! You cannot find a better value at this resort! I looked, and this was the best value for the view and amenities. That's why I give it 5 stars. I only wish the property could be rented for a couple days, the requirement is by the week. We are coming back to Kauai this May and would have rented this property again if we could get if for just 4 days. Thank you for the great stay!
A friend of mine and I stayed not at the condo listed but next door at the Kauai Beach Hotel as a guest of the owner. We were visiting the island for a wedding and wanted to stay in luxury without breaking the bank. It was by far one of the best vacations we have ever been on. The resort and room were beautiful, we were pleasantly surprised. Not to mention, working with the renter was stress-free. He was extremely accommodating and always available by phone. If you're looking for an amazing vacation this is the place to go and the renter to go through!!
For me the location of the condo very handy. About 10 minutes to Lihue to the west or to Kapaa to the east depending on traffic. Photos of the condo were dead on, but like any photo does not give an accurate picture of how large and roomy the condo. We found the apartment very clean, and kitchen appliances all well maintained. The hotel complex next door has very good restaurants and nightly entertainment. The hotel pool is very nice and short walk, which means the condo pool has fewer swimmers. We have recommended this property to friends and relatives for future consideration in their Kauai travel. Fred is a joy to work with. Covers everything you need to know before leaving for Kauai and quick to respond if you have questions when you arrive at the condo.
Let me start with where we stayed and then why only four stars. He has two properties and we opted for the hotel and not the condo. The reason not 5 stars was because the Four Seasons or the Ritz would be 5 stars, this is an excellent resort though. Your vacation will be what you make it, so I won't tell you how to spend your time and will only talk about the property. Third, this is an incredible value for what you get. I can honestly say you won't find any better accommodations for these prices...... I looked long and hard. It's clean, open, well manicured, and friendly attentive staff. There are 4 pools, I think, and a tropical waterfall in it along with a pool bar. We spent very little time on premise during the day, we left around 6:30 most mornings and found ourselves getting home around 8:30 every night, so I can't speak about lunch. Morning you have 2 options at the hotel, full sit down breakfast with options for menu or buffet. You're going to pay $40 no matter what for 2 adults. It's good, variety of options, fresh and you will find some, if not many, things you like. The other option is coffee and muffin for $6 in the gift shop. This was our option most days as we were on the go, plus we are not the type to eat a 4 course meal for breakfast usually. Dinner options are semi formal dining or bar food. We had both, and the bar food was good, again, above average. The semi formal dining was terrible and fantastic at the same time. My dish was overcooked and really just not good, however my wife's was incredible. Maybe the best plate we had all trip. My advice is order something you like, don't ask the wait staff for recommendations. All that being said, my one dish was the ONLY bad experience I had and it was very easily overlooked. The drinks are poured well, all the bartenders mix drinks the way they should be. They don't water it down or skimp on you. The rooms are clean and kept cool. As you can tell we only use the rooms to sleep and shower in, so all that was perfect. Clean sheets, beds with a plethora of pillows, showers, towels, balcony with chairs and a view of the ocean, and a desk. Everything you need plus some. Nothing old and busted. Really couldn't ask for more. There is beach access to walk along the beach if you like, otherwise Kauai is the most beautiful island of the chain and thank goodness there are no big cities and few people on the island. Enjoy the stay, relax and have fun!
We had the most wonderful experience staying at this condo! We enjoyed all the activities Kauai had to offer, such as walking daily, hiking, driving around the Island, sightseeing, shopping and eating at different restaurants! Our stay was stress-free and quite a differennt experience from the fast-paced Oahu, I definately recommend this to anyone that would like to relax and enjoy your well deserved vacation!
