The drawing room feels luxurious. It is spacious and comfortably furnished with light streaming in from huge windows at one end overlooking the gardens, roof-scapes and green hills surrounding Bath. There is a romantic table for 2 with views out the back or an additional dining table which folds out for up to 4-6 of you. The huge decorative fireplace provides a focus, around which there are large sofas, a wide flat screen television, DVD, stereo, telephone and internet services for your entertainment. There is also a double sofa bed for additional guests.
The bedroom is romantically furnished with a king-sized brass bed, large mirrors, comfy chair and glorious windows overlooking the handsome bath stone terraces of this cul-de-sac street.
The galley kitchen has been refurbished with granite worktops and wood cabinets and is smart and well equipped. Similarly, the bathroom has a modern bath (with shower over) and limestone tiling.
Permit parking is provided with this property, allowing you to park in front of the building (space permitting) or on any neighbouring streets. Alternatively the train and bus stations are a 20-30 minute walk away.
The property at Park St. exceeded our expectations. With hotel prices in the city high, this is an alternative that we will use again and again! It gave us the feeling of being Bath residents for a few days - very special.
This lovely, peaceful apartment is located off St. James Square where you will find an Italian delicatessen, a coffee shop, newsagents, pub, florists, organic green-grocers and Cavendish Cooks for delicious home cooked take away food. The elegant Georgian Royal crescent and The Circus are nearby and it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre with a wealth of shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, theatres, and the thermae Spa for you to explore.
