Perfect for couples wanting to explore the West Country any time of year. There is a range of activities close to the property, with train and bus station just 500 meters away. Sunnydeck has a lovely decked area where you can relax and catch the sunshine. The large double bedroom has a king size bed with high quality mattress, plenty of storage space & flat screen digital TV. The comfy lounge has 2 & 3 seat settee, gas fire, flat screen digital TV, YouView box, DVD & stereo. Kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer & dishwasher. The shower room has shower cubical with electric shower, basin & toilet. Separate dining area with extending table. The apartment has central heating, fully controllable by the visitor. Linen & towels provided. Gas, heating, electric and Wi-Fi internet included. About Lindsey Foxwell

We are nearly retired (!) and live in Taunton. We wanted to buy a holiday home to enjoy with our family, who are grown and having children of their own. Over the years we have taken a lot of self catering holidays all over Britain, so with Sunnydeck we have tried to include, and provide, all the good aspects of our travel experiences. Why Lindsey Foxwell chose Exmouth

The reason we chose Exmouth for our holiday home is the wonderful sandy beach, estuary and all the local amenities with the train and bus station only 5 minutes walk away. There is always plenty to see and do what ever the time of year. We chose this apartment because it is spacious but cosy, close to everything and has parking!

What makes this apartment unique

We chose this apartment because it is spacious but still cosy. The decked area at the back is just perfect to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine and the sunshine. The location is ideal for beach, town and generally exploring. The bus and train station are a five minute walk away making this ideal for visitors without a car. Wi-Fi is now available at Sunnydeck.

Sunny Deck, home from home.

From the moment we arrived at Sunny Deck we felt really at home. The location is really good, a short walk into town for all the facilities, shops, cafes, pubs, buses, trains, Marina, Beach etc. Off-road parking for the car and in our case that is where it stayed for most of the time.

The property is very clean and well maintained, looks like it has had a very good makeover recently. It has a brand new and well laid out

kitchen. We were very impressed by the care and trouble that the owners have gone to, to ensure the comfort and homeliness of this property. We would certainly recommend 'Sunny Deck' to anyone wanting a nice relaxing break.

We enjoyed several walks; a boat trip up the estuary to Topsham returning by train and stopping off at Lympestone on the way back; eating and drinking in the local pubs and restaurants and just the sheer convenience of everything.

Well equipped and extremely comfortable.

It was so easy to book this property and the owners could not have been more helpful with instructions and directions. We have had a lot of self catering holidays, in the UK and abroad, and this rates as one of the most comfortable and well equipped places we have ever stayed in. We were there partly to enable us to visit family but for those on holiday there is plenty to do in this lovely part of Devon. No car is needed either - we left ours in the handy parking space all week. There are plenty of trains and buses if you want to go a bit further afield but the locale is lovely to walk around and the town is very close. There are some great cafes and plenty of places to eat if you want a break from cooking. Highly recommended - and then some!

The bolthole at the back of town

Sunnydeck is a very well facilitated, clean, cosy and peaceful flat set off a characteristic Exmouth back street close to town centre shops and restaurants but excluding traffic noise. It is warm, spacious enough for a couple or small family and offers a secluded holiday location at any time of year. It is about 3/4 mile from the sea and handy for picking up roads for Topsham and Exeter and the East Devon coastal resorts. The flat is clean, easily warmed and clearly well maintained as the owners regularly use the flat themselves. It is the ideal bolthole for somebody seeking to get away from it all.

Exmouth lies at the mouth of the River Exe and has two miles of golden sands for you to explore. A nature reserve spreads across a large part of the estuary, and is home to many birds and other wildlife. It is also at the start of the Jurassic Coast Heritage Path, a coastal and cliff-top walk that takes you all the way to Lyme Regis. A short ferry ride will take you to Starcross and Dawlish where you can walk to Powderham Castle and waterside pubs.

The town centre has a wide variety of shops and an indoor market. There are a number of parks in and around the town. There are numerous sporting activities you can enjoy during your stay. Water sports including windsurfing, kite surfing, jet ski, wake boarding and water skiing to name a few!

Exmouth has a railway station, and a short ride will take you to the city of Exeter with its many attraction. Next to the station is Exmouth Sports Centre with two heated swimming pools and a variety of sports. The town also has a cinema.
