Within a few minutes walk of Belgravia, Buckingham Palace and Theatres

Located within a portered luxury apartment block with its own secure car parking within the Pimlico Conservation Area. A very short walk to Victoria Station with direct rail and underground links to Gatwick and Heathrow airports. Close to excellent restaurants, public houses, theatres, Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace yet within the village atmosphere of Pimlico. The Apartment has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and is fully furnished to a high standard with Wi-fi internet and Sky TV. There is a porter, communal roof terrace and a secure basement car parking space if required. An extremely convenient location from which to explore London and sample the delights of some of the most exclusive enclaves of Belgravia and Chelsea.

Please note that the internal shots may vary as there are a number of flats with slightly different decor on different floors and in different positions in the same apartment block.

Bike Hire: There is a Barclays bike hire station within 100 yards which enables you to cycle throughout Central London and after registering you can cycle for up to 30 minutes for free and just leave the bike at another docking station, which are found at most places of tourist interest. Its a great and cost effective way of seeing London...and getting some exercise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in London staying in this apartment. It was spacious and clean with all the mod cons you would need. It is literally a stones throw from Victoria Station so you can hear the trains but only in the background, they don't disturb your sleep. It was possible to walk to a large number of sights from the apartment e.g. Buckingham Palace, Westminster, the London Eye, South Kensington and the West End but the tube is within easy reach. The only transport problem we had was that the Victoria line is closed on a weekend. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity too as well as takeaway chains. Would definitely recommend it to friends
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Normally the Victoria line would be open at weekends. Perhaps there were some engineering works? There is also the option of using one of the red london buses from Victoria bus station with adjoins the rail station which is often a better way to travel if you want to have a good look around from a higher vantage point.

Appartement très agréable situé dans un beau quartier au cœur de Londres, à deux pas de la gare Victoria ( on entend un peu les trains) ce qui permet de toujours trouver un bus ou un métro pour rentrer à la "maison" le soir après une bonne journée de visites. L'appartement est très confortable et bien aménagé pour 5 personnes, très propre .....parfait pour un bon séjour. Les contacts par mail avec la propriétaire ont toujours été très agréables, et riches en informations sur l'accès à l'appartement et l'environnement (commerces à la gare, visites...). À 10 minutes à pied de Buckingham Palace, c'est un point de départ idéal pour visiter la ville en traversant les parcs.

This apartment is extremely comfortable and lovely! And with sound proofing in place, it is very quiet. The kitchen has everything one needs to self cater, and the two bathrooms make is easy for a family with older children to have space. Dealing with the owner is a great pleasure - she is helpful, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit London and u will definitely stay there again next time I am in London!! Fantastic apartment! Thanks Debra :)

Spacious and Convenient - A Good Stay!

We spent three nights at Royal Belgrave House and would gladly recommend it. The apartment was clean and tidy with all the equipment you might need for a short or long stay, e.g., microwave, oven, dishwasher, internet, TV, etc, in good working condition. The apartment was also spacious for the price, and as a family with two teenagers this space was worth it, as were the two bathrooms. Communications the owners was prompt and helpful.

Victoria was a good location. We arrived at the train station and walked to the building easily. The day we checked out we left our cases at Victoria before doing some last minute sightseeing (the Royal Belgrave concierge also offered to watch them for free.) The tube line is easy to find, obviously, although we found it more fun to catch one of many nearby buses.

Reviewers mention the railway tracks outside and maybe the noise used to be worse; with the windows closed we hardly noticed. In summer it get stuffy like that so we used the fans provided. I didn't know about the portable a/c unit; definately ask the owners. There was no noise from other apartments and Hugh St. is also calm, even though it's around the corner from Victoria.

The only negatives I can think of were very minor, to us. The two beds are doubles and our kids didn't want to share! The solution was to put one on the sofabed. We also couldn't find instructions for the appliances so using the oven and the dishwasher was more hassle than we expected.

A good experience and we'd be glad to stay again.
