My wife and I love London, having lived and worked there for 5 years. As a geophysicist, one gets to see the world and London is one of the great cities of course. We live mainly in Arizona now, where our dog, Blue, loves to walk in the cool mornings. But we get back to London for theatre, art, and just walking on the Southbank as often as we can.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2007

This location is in the heart of the city, with a choice of bridges to walk across to the City if you are working or the West End for a show or to Westminster. My favorite run is across the Westminster bridge around Green Park and Buckingham Palace, back down the Mall and across the Hungerford Bridge to home. Running under the chestnut trees is beautiful.

Location, location, location! Cook at home or pop out for any kind of food you desire: it is all close by.

BEAUTIFUL, SPACIOUS, SAFE, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

Our family of 5 enjoyed a fantastic week exploring London. We were able to pack light because this flat has everything you need. It comfortably sleeps 5. There is a market around the corner as well as many restaurants. It is a short walk to the train or tube station. Our youngest is 8 years old and she was able to keep up with us on this trip because everything to do is a short walk away. We explored the London Eye, walked along the Thames, enjoyed museums and more. The building is very safe and quiet with amazing views! We would absolutely stay here again!

THIS PLACE IS GREAT!

We spent a week here in May 2014. Hannah, the manager, was most helpful. The location is superb....Waterloo Station a 10 minute walk/Southwark Tube a 5 minute walk/Sainsbury's grocery less than a block away (and a new Tesco grocery opening soon less than 5 mins away). The flat has two very nice bedrooms and bathrooms with a washer and tumble dryer (which we needed after 10 days in Wales and Cornwall!). The kitchen is well-equipped and the views are unbeatable. The lounge is quite comfortable, with large screen TV with tons of channels. The area is very nice...within walking distance to many attractions including the Old Vic and the Young Vic theaters. One drawback: it's extremely difficult to eat dinner close by without a reservation due to the after-work crowd and theater goers. Would highly recommend this property.

AMAZING FAMILY ACCOMMODATION!

My family (including a 4 year old and a new baby) were so happy to have stayed at this lovely penthouse during our London visit. The location is superb, we walked everywhere - covent garden, southbank, Tate modern, St. Paul's. When we didn't want to walk, we caught the tube at the extremely convenient Southwark Underground. The neighborhood is great, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The penthouse itself is large and perfect for a young family. The kitchen was stocked and it was so handy to have the laundry in our flat. The decor is modern, and the beds comfortable. The view is superb! Building security is top notch, and there is a lift.

We will definitely stay there again when we are next in London!

We didn't want to leave at the end of our stay as this place was so lovely! Upon arrival, Hannah, the manager, met us (2 couples)downstairs and took us up to the 4th floor via elevator and, as we stepped out on the landing, the view took our breath away before even entering the apartment! The views from the living and dining room and the bedrooms in the rear were even more amazing. The beds were very comfortable and having balconies on both sides of the flat to enjoy the fresh air was an added plus. This apartment exceeded our expectations;Absolutely no complaints and load of compliments to the owners and manager for anticipating all of our needs. We definitely hope to return again ourselves and would absolutely recommend it to friends. We even had local friends over one night and enjoyed a relaxing evening and Chinese take away from the restaurant "Culture Grub"across the street on the Cut. The 6 of us sat around the modern dining room table and truly felt at home. Though we have stayed in London many times previously, this was our first stay in this neighborhood and it is definitely our new favorite !! We walked to the Eye and virtually everywhere we wanted to go but the Southwark station is so close to the apartment that it made visits to places we didn't wish to walk to very very convenient. We are definitely ready to return and we only just got home!

WONDERFUL, MODERN LONDON APARTMENT

This apartment is a winner! It's spacious with 2 great bedrooms one with 2 twins and one with a King bed. It has 2 full baths a large living area and dining room plus a well stocked kitchen and washer and dryer too. Plenty of room for the 4 of us senior ladies on our recent stay in London. The view from the floor to ceiling windows of the London Eye is breathtaking at night. There are also two balconies one off the dining room and one off both bedrooms in the back. Great for a glass of wine in the evening. It is on the 4th floor in a building with an elevator too. Safe and secure and quiet with card entry into the building and the apartment. Located on the South side of the Thames right near the Young and Old Vic theaters for nightly entertainment. The grocery store is just across the street on the corner which was so convenient and two tube stops plus the Waterloo train station are just a couple of minutes away. It is a very easy walk to the river walk embankment with parks, eating, shopping and attractions like the Eye, the Dungeon and the Aquarium. While we were there they had a great food faire and lots of street entertainment. Great access to buses, taxis, water taxis and excursions and the bridges across the river. Very close to the Westminster Abbey, Parliament and Big Ben. It was wonderful working with Gary the owner and Hannah the manager. They were both so very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions. This apartment is a 10!

MAGNIFIC PENTHOUSE

We spent one week and we were a family of 4 from Canary Islands, two adults and two kids of 11 and 8 years old on vacation. The flat is magnific for everything. Is near of all atractions of london, most of them you can reach walking. The flat is better than the description given, all was in perfect order and very clean. The attention given by Hanna was perfect, on arrival she was waiting as we arrive in the morning and were cleaning, we could leave the suitcases in the flat and go outside until the flat was cleaned. Was fantastic to come back to the flat after all day visitinng the town for relaxing. We have a supermarket very close to the appartment so it was very convenient for cooking at home. I strongly recomend the flat for everything, for holidays, for working, etc. Near the flat you can find two theaters, restaurants and pubs. I could continue describibg the excellences of the apartment and the attention given by Hanna, but I will keep for the next time because I would like to repeat the experience.
