Self-catering all year round holiday rental luxury apartment, with secure parking, the apartment has a uninterrupted view of Caswell Bay, a double bed in the bedroom, 2 double bed settees in the lounge,fully equiped and modern kitchen, comfortable & spacious lounge/dinning room, bathroom with shower,sink & wc. All electricity is included in price, there is a pay phone in the foyer, just a short walk along the beach is a cafe & small gift shops you can relax & enjoy the peace & quiet soak up the sun,or watch the surfers catching the waves. There are plenty of coastal walks to take & many places of interest to visit including Oystermouth castle, or Rhoselli with its breath taking views, & many many more.caswell bay was featured on 'Britain's finest view. The holiday apartment is on the gower peninsular, approx 15min from Swansea where there is a shopping centre,cinema, leisure centre,bowling. It is 5min from the mumbles where you will find shops,cafes, bars & restaurants & much much more

Recently refurbished march 2010: We hope you like the changes me have made to our apartment,we have made the kitchen extended and refitted. we have had the shower room re fitted. we have added two bed settees to make it available to sleep 6 people.

In January 2011 we had a new panoramic window fitted and added new blinds.

There is a annex to the property that is self contained,it sleeps two people, there is a pull down double bed, two seater sofa, t v with shower wc wash basin, kitchenette with fridge, washer dryer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, two ring mini oven.This can be rented along side the above property at an extra cost of £175.00 a week.

This property has uninterrupted views of caswell bay, it has secure parking. There is a additional annex to this property that has double bed, a shower room, a kitchenette, a t.v, it is across the hall from the main flat so that it is close enough to have contact with the people in the main flat but has its own front door so there there is total privacy as well, this can be booked on its own or with the main flat a a cost of £175.00 a week. i would also consider a long term let on the annex

close to the beach,on the Gower Peninsula.caswell bay was featured on britains finest view,there are plenty of places to explore like a short walk along the beach at low tide to Brandy Cove,or a longer walk the opposit way to Langland,A trip to Rossilli the worms head to see its breath taking views is a must,other bays incude Oxwich Bay,Limeslade,Llangenith,pobbles beach and many more.In the Gower area there are castles,medieval fortresses,iron age fortification and churches,just to name a few,these are all set in the scenery of hills,valleys and beaches.

Great Location - View - Beach and Walks

Stayed at this property for 4 nights 11 - 15 July 2011. What a fantastic location, the view from the lounge window is wonderful. Loved just sitting on the large sofa first thing in the morning and last thing at night looking out over the beach.

The apartment is as described:-

Comfortable/Modern Decor and comes with a full dishwasher, washer/dryer, cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. The best thing is....they were in good condition and all worked efficiently.

The well fitted modern kitchen cupboards are amply stocked with crockery, pots, pans etc., Again, all in good condition.

The bathroom is tastefully decorated and the shower cubicle is large with a constant water temperature flow. Good quality towels provided.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and plenty of fitted cupboard space. The one disappointment is there is no window as it is located at the rear of the apartment.

Best thing is...we did not hear any noise from the other apartments in the block.

Caswell Bay was busy with day trippers from Mid-morning until about 4.00 pm but never crowded. The walk along the cliff to Langland Bay is spectacular. On getting there enjoyed a visit to 'Langland's Brasserie by the Sea' for a mid morning coffee and cake.

On the second day took the local bus (one an hour in the summer months) to Newton Road, Mumbles and then walked back across the cliffs via. Rotherslade, Langland eventually reaching Caswell Bay. Great walk with fantastic views. Plenty of seats to take a well earned rest. Plus a few Cafes/Ice Cream shops if you require refreshments along the way. Try the Salt Marsh Lamb Burger in the Cafe at Caswell Bay.

Walked around the Nature Reserve Woodlands Area in Caswell Bay, entrance is located at the rear of the public car park. Enjoyed it.

If you plan to visit the apartment, stock up on provisions before you check in - as there are no grocery shops in the immediate area.

Loved the area, friendly people, great views, good scenic walks - nature at its best, Plus the weather was kind to us. Plan to return and explore further.

The flat is very clean and comfortable fitted with all modern cons. The view is spectacular. The sea is a stone's throw away, which is brilliant for a quiet walk, swim or paddle. The location is great as it is a short drive to most towns along the Gower Peninsular. There are a number of hiking and walking trails from the flat,

5A Redcliffe Apartments, Caswell Bay.

Very nice apartment, with gorgeous view. Particularly liked the fact chairs were provided to take on to the beach. Could sit by the window for a week and never tire of looking out over the sea. Particularly enjoyed walking along coastal path to Langland Bay.

Good cycling path from Mumbles (all the way to Swansea if you are fit!)

Sitting at the icecream parlour overlooking Mumbles Bay on a glorious day we wondered why anyone would ever want to go abroad.

Will certainly return and recommend to friends.

Myself and partner wanted a secluded getaway for a few days, we couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place to stay.
The apartment was outstanding, fully stocked with everything you could need and extra's were provided, absolutely stunning views. We had the most amazing few days and were really sorry to leave.
Will most definately be returning for a longer stay next year..

Also the locals were just lovely and so welcoming, restaurants were lovely.
Would certainly recommend this property to all my friends...

The standards and amenities within the apartment were exceptionally high, the view directly overlooking the sandy beach and sea is beautiful, nothing was too much trouble for the owners or letting agents,we would love to go again. Claire Louise and Sam from Wolverhampton.
