Fantastic holiday!
We had a great holiday in this lovely villa in a stunning location.
The villa was spotless and well presented on our arrival. We also found the villa to be very well equipped, and had everything that we needed. The owners had provided us with some bread, cheese and ham etc that was very welcome after our journey. There were 6 adults in our group and there was ample room for us all! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well furnished. The communal areas were able to easily accommodate us, with plenty of chairs and table space. The provision of a dishwasher, and a washing machine, were really useful.
The villa is easily accessible from Porto via the motorway and took us approximately 2hrs from collecting our car at the airport to arriving at the villa (which was easily found using the owners directions). After leaving the motorway, ensure to take care on the roads leading to the villa - it's a winding road with lovely views, but not to be done in a hurry! A car is essential in this area, though it is possible to walk down the hill to Covas where there are shops selling essentials and a couple of cafes. The nearest supermarket is a short car ride away.
We spent much of our week exploring the local region - the wonderful national park and the beaches along the coast. The villa was in a quiet setting, which was ideal for relaxing with a drink and a good book by the pool. The owners have an amazing library of English language books in the villa so we weren't short of things to read! We had several BBQs at the villa throughout our stay, but we also had some good meals out and didn't find the region to be expensive. I'm sure this won't be the last time that we visit this lovely place.

Owner's Response: When we set up the house for renting out for holidays we wanted to have a place that would appeal to people of all ages, have a well equiped kitchen,baby and toddler equipment and fenced in garden and pool area.
We have achieved that and everybody,without exception, has really loved the house, this is very pleasing for us and we look forward to seeing past guests come again.
