The villa is located next to the popular resort of Benavista, just past San Pedro at the bottom of the road leading to Benahavis. This beautiful village has quaint streets and souvenir shops as well as amazing restaurants. There are several golf courses nearby and bars, restaurants, and supermarkets are all within a 5 minute walk from the villa.If you have a car the sky's the limit, this area of Spain is not just fantastic beaches. Should you be unfortunate enough to experience bad weather or you simply wish to get out of the blazing sun for a while there are lots of places to go. Take a 10 minute drive to Puerto Banus and experience shopping heaven or cinemas and bowling for the kids. Drive a further 5 minutes on to La Canada which has the added benefit of an amusment arcade. Further still is the picturesque Marbella with the beautiful 'Plaza De Naranjos' (Orange Square ). In the opposite direction is Gibraltar which houses the famous apes as well as a new cinema and ice-skating rink.
Other Activities: pot holing,cave diving,bowling,kids kingdom,safari park,aqua park and crocodile park (30 mins )
Golf: There are over 10 different golf courses within a 20 minute drive. They range from the open type of course to the very tight for the lower handicaper.
Valderama where thay played the Ryder cup is about a 30 minute drive away, but you need to be a 18 or less handicaper for this fantastic coures.The greens are like a sheet of ice, very scarry.lol.
Ski: The Seierra Nevarda season usally starts beginning of December and runs through to April or has even ended begining of May.
It is a 2 hour 15 minute drive from the villa and you are skiing.
Sunbathing around the pool in the morning , skiing the slopes in the afternoon.We have done it many times with are children,yes it is a long day by the time you drive home,or sometimes just book a room in the village as there are plenty and very reasonablly priced, for that little holiday in a holiday.
We can arrange the skiing trip with transport there and back and the driver will stay and ski with you if required or help with the kids as he is there all day to bring you home at night so there is no worries about drinking.
