Within a short distance of the village you can enjoy golf, yachting, hot springs and spas, national parks, plateaus, fishing, scuba diving, ballooning, wildlife parks, water skiing, water rafting, paragliding, caving and mountaineering. There are 11 Championship golf courses, including the Collin Montgomery and Nick Faldo courses within 20 minutes in Belek.
This area of Turkey is rich in natural beauty and historical sites dating to the Roman and Greek times; Aspendos Amphitheatre is one of the best examples of Roman theatre construction in the world. The ruined city of Perge spreads over a vast area, dating to Greek origins, and is still being excavated. Side, is one of the best classical sites in Turkey, with an ancient harbour and pretty town. Antalya and Alanya have old towns and harbours. Local rivers produce a multitude of fantastic waterfalls, set within national parks and flowing into the sea.
The ski resort of Saklikent is 90 minutes away and open from January to April.
