My name is Becka, My husband Caro, and I have been dancing tango for more than 10 years. We traveled to Buenos Aires in 2004, just to dance and have fun, but we got lucky and accidentally saw this French Renaissance beauty, which was totally run-down and in a very bad shape. It was love at first sight. We fell in love with it and for two years after that, we traveled to BA almost 14 times and shopped at many antique stores to be able to reface, remodel and revive this beautiful historic apartment. Since then this apartment has been a heaven for us, and many other tango dancers and world visitors. Come and stay here and experience the elegance of the past and be mesmerized with the beauty and charm of this exquisite apartment. I assure you, you will love it!

Also by being in the middle of down town, you are close to many activities and fun places and have access to all types of transportations. By staying here, you can certainly feel how this city runs, and can understand the culture of Portenos (people born in the port of Buenos Aires).
I remember the first time I saw this apartment... I was so amazed at the beauty and elegance of the walls and intricate wood floors and yet I felt so sorry to see it rundown, and so lonely and damaged. I felt I heard a calling to bring it back to life! . That is why I decided to buy this gorgeous apartment and revive it with modern necessities and make it livable and enjoyable as it used to be. Up to this day, I feel mesmerized by its beauty and elegance, and so privileged to have the chance of staying there. I assure you, you will feel the same…..
I stayed at Becka's beautiful house for my tango trip to buenos aires. Since it was my first time, I wanted to be close to everything and safe. The house is located centrally, in the district of Congreso, close to stores, touristic sights and public transportation. I did take taxi mostly due to my tight schedule, but many of my friends who visited found it easy with public transportation. The house is large and very comfortable, besides being very beautiful! THe large kitchen is good for people who want to eat at home. Also a nice breakfast area. I stayed in the blue room, which is beautiful and also very quiet. Coming home at 7 am after dancing all night I preferred the silence and quiet away from street noise and I could sleep all day without being disturbed at all. Very tranquil, relaxing atmosphere. So, if you are traveling to bsas, I would definitely recommend staying here :) It is your home in Buenos Aires.
