I stayed at Becka's beautiful house for my tango trip to buenos aires. Since it was my first time, I wanted to be close to everything and safe. The house is located centrally, in the district of Congreso, close to stores, touristic sights and public transportation. I did take taxi mostly due to my tight schedule, but many of my friends who visited found it easy with public transportation. The house is large and very comfortable, besides being very beautiful! THe large kitchen is good for people who want to eat at home. Also a nice breakfast area. I stayed in the blue room, which is beautiful and also very quiet. Coming home at 7 am after dancing all night I preferred the silence and quiet away from street noise and I could sleep all day without being disturbed at all. Very tranquil, relaxing atmosphere. So, if you are traveling to bsas, I would definitely recommend staying here :) It is your home in Buenos Aires.

My name is Becka, My husband Caro, and I have been dancing tango for more than 10 years. We traveled to Buenos Aires in 2004, just to dance and have fun, but we got lucky and accidentally saw this French Renaissance beauty, which was totally run-down and in a very bad shape. It was love at first sight. We fell in love with it and for two years after that, we traveled to BA almost 14 times and shopped at many antique stores to be able to reface, remodel and revive this beautiful historic apartment. Since then this apartment has been a heaven for us, and many other tango dancers and world visitors. Come and stay here and experience the elegance of the past and be mesmerized with the beauty and charm of this exquisite apartment. I assure you, you will love it!
By staying at this turn of the century apartment, you will feel the elegance of yesterdays, and the comfort of today. All the furniture in this beautiful apartment has been bought from the antique stores and refurbished to make you feel like royalties. Come and enjoy being a King or the Queen of the house.
Also by being in the middle of down town, you are close to many activities and fun places and have access to all types of transportations. By staying here, you can certainly feel how this city runs, and can understand the culture of Portenos (people born in the port of Buenos Aires).
I remember the first time I saw this apartment... I was so amazed at the beauty and elegance of the walls and intricate wood floors and yet I felt so sorry that it was so lonely and damaged and run-down. I felt I heard a calling and felt the honor of bringing it back to life and I DID! . That is why I decided to buy this gorgeous apartment and revive it with modern necessities and make it livable and enjoyable as it used to be. Up to this day, whenever I stay here, I feel mesmerized and privileged. I assure you, you will feel the same…..
