Two bedroom / bathroom luxury townhouse at St Endreol Golf and Spa Resort.WiFi.

Built in 2006 - 90 sq mts. The property is located on the exclusive St Endreol Golf and Spa resort. For financial security of renters all payments and contracts are handled by the management company directly at St Endreol on behalf of the owner. Free WiFI usage is included in the rental cost.

The ground floor consists of large living / dining area with fully fitted kitchen, utility and cloakroom. French doors open on to a south facing patio and secluded, private garden. Upstairs are two bedrooms with ultra high, oak beamed ceilings and full length windows allowing maximum light.

The main double room has a full en suite bathroom and the twin bedroom a shower room with use of separate WC . The bedrooms are air-conditioned. The kitchen / utility room is fully equipped. Garage 10 mts from house which is ideal for storage of golf clubs, bicycles etc. Approx 100 mts to large communal pool with stunning views of Roquebrune Mountain.

St Endreol golf course and Spa has been voted one of the top ten destinations of its type in France. The superb and challenging 18 hole course is set amongst stunning scenery (see photo album). Special Green fee Rate of €60 for tenants. Excellent restaurant / coffee shop/ tennis. Scenic walks. Management Company on site.

Peace and Tranquility at St Endreol: The secluded and tranquil south facing garden is a delight with Agapanthus, Lavender and other Mediterranean plants. There is natural shade supplemented by a large umbrella / sail. The garden furniture comprises of a table, six chairs, two loungers and two deckchairs. Visitors enjoy walks on the estate with stunning views across the golf course with Var mountain scenery to the north and Roquebrune and the coast to the south. The large shared swimming pool and tiled sun area is about 100 metres from the house and is fully equipped with loungers and umbrellas (April / October) free of charge. Garage 10 mts from the house with automatic door, ideal for storing golf clubs / bicycles etc. A feature of the resort is its landscaping and abundance of Mediterranean flora and fauna. The large Spa (500mts) with its indoor pool, separate hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room is a delight at any time of the year. Full treatment packages are available. (NB separate charge for Spa of only €16 per head).

Environs: St Endreol combines the benefit of a golf resort vacation yet with privacy and the sophistication of the French Riviera within easy reach. For those wishing more peaceful pursuits there is beautiful scenery, vineyards and quintessential Provencal hill top villages all around the area. Many local restaurants serve traditional food and wine at highly competitive prices. The superb Michelin star restaurant Les Gorges de Pennafort run by the world famous chef Philippe D'Silva is within a ten minute drive. In summer excellent beach restaurants are to be found along the sandy coast from Les Issambres to St Maxime. World class shopping is available at St Tropez, Nice or Cannes - a 40 mins drive or train from Les Arcs station - 8 kms. The idyllic Provencal villages of Callas and Bargemon with their cafes and restaurants are within easy reach as is the major town of Draguignan. Le Muy has a local market on a Tuesday and Sunday and a taste of traditional French life can be enjoyed in nearby La Motte, which has an excellent patisserie and charcuterie in addition to cafes etc.

Beaches and Vineyards: The sandy beaches of Les Issambres / St Maxime are within 30 mins drive, with frequent ferry service across the bay to St Tropez . Restaurants, cafes etc abound along the coast. St Endreol is surrounded by vineyards producing top class wines, notably Château d'Esclans. The Grand Canyon du Verdon (40kms) - a spectacular national park makes an ideal day excursion. The French national water ski centre is located nearby at Roquebrune and the area is popular with cyclists and hikers. Isola 2000 / Auron ski resorts approx 2.5 hrs drive.

Golf: Golf at St Endreol is best enjoyed in spring and autumn. For 2011 the Management Company has introduced a SPECIAL RATE OFONLY €60 for tenants.The 18 hole course, voted amongst the top ten in France is set amidst undulating countryside with several water features including the signature 13th hole played over the river Endre. The course is well maintained with top quality greens. There is a driving range plus practise area / putting green. Electric buggies are available. The club house serves excellent food and the terrace enjoys tremendous views of the Var Mountains. For keen golfers other courses in the area include the Four Seasons resort at Terre Blanche (30 minutes drive), St Maxime and Gassin (40 mins and 60 mins respectively).

Ski: One can combine a winter / spring golf / rural vacation with a few days ski-ing at Isola 2000, a very extensive resort with 120km of downhill skiing, 47 individual pistes, served by 24 ski lifts. Spectacular alpine scenery on the Italian border.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season until 24 April 2011.

Snowmaking :- Although it has an excellent snow record, Isola 2000 is able to augment natural snow, on 6km of ski runs, with 403 Snow Cannons.

Accommodation is available in the village for overnight stays but it is wise to book ahead. A bus transfer is also available from Nice airport.

  • The main en suite bathroom is especially spacious with windows on two sides. There is a walk-in shower unit in addition to full size bath / shower. The second bathroom is a spacious shower room and given the split nature of the house a toilet is located down a short flight of steps. Both bathrooms benefit from extra high ceilings in the same manner as the bedrooms.

  • Both bedrooms (one doble and one twin) are air conditioned large and airy with high loft style cielings and oak beams. Both have double french style doors with balastrade thus allowing maximum light to flow into the bedrooms but with shutters to keep the house cool in summer. A fifth person can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living room - ideal for a child / teenager.

Notes:
The interior of the property is in minimalist, traditional Provencal style with tiled floors on both levels. The living area and bedrooms benefit from maximum sunlight, but the shutters and air-conditioning ensure the house is cool in summer. The kitchen is fully equipped with black granite worktops and a combined gas / electric cooker. Large fridge freezer. The washer dryer is located in a separate utility room. The main bedroom has an especially spacious en suite bathroom and the entire upper level benefits from vaulted high ceilings (up to 6 metres high) with oak beams. In the living area is a 32 inch flat screen TV (satellite reception) plus DVD player. One of the two sofas converts to a bed. There is an open fire place and logs are available for purchase in the winter months. Full central heating. The garden is south facing and secluded being well stocked with mediterranean flora and colourful all year. Patio table and six chairs, plus two sun loungers and two deck chairs.
