I have been summering for many years on the North Fork, and when I found this house it was the perfect place I had been searching for.
Julie Saul purchased this house in 2007
Perfect position for a summer home. Feels very private but is at the center of this very special village.
Water views and steps from a great beach. Can pull a sunfish or paddle board into the water in a minute. Friendly interesting community. Drinks or dinner at Legends steps away. All needed amenities including groceries, library, golfing can be reached by bicycle if desired.
We couldn't have been happier with our wonderful weekend in this fabulous house! The view from the deck speaks for itself, and you can see the ocean from much of the house as well. The interior is done with immense taste and flair; the owner is involved in the art world and that shows in every detail. Beautiful as it is, the house is also very comfortable, welcoming and relaxing, with lots of different and distinctive places for people to spread out in. The neighborhood is great; there are cafés and restaurants in easy walking distance, and we enjoyed lots of long walks along the shore. This place is impeccable; far superior to the other rentals we checked out in the area.
Lovely, comfortable house. I had a wonderful time last summer, walking to the beach down the road, riding bikes into town, sitting on the deck with my coffee, watching sailboats in the bay. Owner has great taste which is reflected in every aspect from the artwork to the stylish furnishings. Highly recommended.
A stylish, breezy cottage by the sea. Lots of light and outdoor space make for a restful, healthful environment. Owner's good taste is evident throughout--very chic and trendy décor. Well appointed kitchen for cooking meals from locally sourced fish and produce. Step off the property and you're right at the water's edge. Sweet sandy beach is a three minute walk away. New Suffolk is one of the choice spots on the North Fork for a stroll. Great for biking too. And there's even a restaurant in the little town if you want a meal out and don't want to get in the car.
Lovely, comfortable cottage with beautiful deck and a view of the harbor. Quiet, private, peaceful. Owner keeps everything spiffy and well-appointed. Short walk to a nice community beach. Quaint small-town feeling with benefit of easy access to farm produce and restaurants nearby. Loads to do within a short drive. None of the traffic jams and social pressures of the Hamptons.
Weekly regattas steps away with community gathering. Great library less than a mile away with film rentals and activities. Art camp across the street teaching animation for kids up to 14 years old.
