Notes

• Weekly rates quoted are for a party of up to 10 people. Any additional person will be charged pro rata.The weekend rate is a minimum charge for parties of 8 people or less which is equivalent to £40 pppn. Additional guests will be charged at £40 pppn (min.2 nights). For weekend bookings, one child under 2 years old can be accommodated without charge. Electricity, gas and water charges are included in the rental on the basis that guests use them sensibly.
  An initial 50% of rental is payable at time of booking. The remaining 50% is payable in cleared funds 28 days prior to holiday start.
  A minimum cancellation fee of 30% of the full fee will be charged for cancellations made one month or more prior to holiday start. There will be no refund for cancellations made less than one month prior to the booked date.
  
  Guests are strongly advised to effect their own insurance to protect against rental payments lost through unexpected cancellations, delays and travel difficulties etc.
• Security Deposit: A deposit of £400, in cleared funds, is payable with the rental balance in case of damage to the property or it’s contents, fair wear and tear excluded. The property will be thoroughly cleaned and ready for the client and it is expected that the property be left in good order. Some or all of this deposit may be retained by the owners if, for example, exceptional cleaning is required, there is obvious damage, unaceptable material such as glass enters the swimming pool or blockages to drains occur. The minimum charge for remedial work to the swimming pool will be £200 and the minimum charge for attending blocked drains will be £100. It is rare for retention to be made and the owners would ask clients to understand that a security deposit is necessary to ensure that high standards are maintained for the benefit of all. The owners will account to the client for the security deposit and undertake to deal with the balance within 2 weeks of the end of the rental period.
• Any provisional booking will be held for 5 working days awaiting receipt of your payment.
  
  To secure your booking we must receive your booking form and deposit of 50% of the total cost within 5 working days of your phone call or Email. If your booking is made within eight weeks of your holiday date, we require the full payment at the time of booking.
  
  Payment to be made in £ Sterling (GBP) either by internet Bank transfer or cheque drawn from any UK bank.
