Exclusive self catering apartment on Loch Ness in former St Benedict's Abbey. Lots of facilities inside and out, great for family holidays or Highland hideaways for couples. The Highland Club is set in 20 acres of mature grounds on the shores of Loch Ness. Our 2 bedroom self catering apartment has been graded 4 star, is furnished in solid oak, has a sunny southerly aspect and is yours for weekly or short breaks throughout the year. The accommodation is just a short walk from the village of Fort Augustus with a good tourist information office, and a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Loch Ness cruises, golf course and wonderful walking and touring opportunities close by.

The abbey was originally built by the Duke of Cumberland as a military fort at the time of the Jacobite rebellion, it was only later converted to an abbey. Now restored to its former glory as a Highland retreat.

Also included is a warm welcome from Jeanette property manager who will show you to your apartment and help you settle in. A welcome pack and complimentary toiletries are also included.

Short breaks are available for 2 nights or more on request subject to availability.

On the shores of Loch Ness the apartment is just a few yards from the village of Fort Augustus known locally as the 'Gateway to Loch Ness' as it is situated at the southern end of the lake, so ideal for touring both sides of the loch. It is also ideally situated for visiting Inverness and Fort William, both being within an hour by car from the apartment. The west coast and Isle of Skye, famous for its fantastic sunsets and rugged coastline is also only just over an hour from Fort Augustus.
