Fantastic holiday
We are a family of 5, with 3 young children aged 12-7-2 and we stayed at the Villa at the end of July 2009.
With the dodgy British "Summers" if you can call them that, we were desperate this year to go somewhere where it would be warm, somewhere where we could relax and enjoy a hard earned rest. This holiday ticked all the boxes and a lot more.
The surroundings are beautiful, and the Villa was superb, it had plenty of room for all of us, and it was located in a very up market holiday home area which felt incredibly safe and private, the Villa has everything you need and a lot of thought and care has gone in to making you feel very comfortable and relaxed, there were collections of /maps/leaflets on local interests/menus for the abundance of great restaurants that are close by, dvd's/cd's and lots of games to keep the children occupied. The pool and bbq area was just amazing and where we spent most of our time, another major bonus was the air conditioning which was great and allowed all of us a good nights sleep every night.
On arrival we were greeted by Andre who is on hand to help out with any queries we had and even took me to the local shop so we could buy our provisons for the first couple of days without worrying about a thing. He also hired me a car for and was very helpful throughout, only a call away if we had a question.
The Villa is located close to Vale de Lobo, Almancil, Quinta Delago and a short trip by car to Villamoura, which is a fantastic marina complex which offers great food, beautiful surrounds and where you can book sea excursions to visit the Dolphins, snorkelling or deep sea fishing. The beach/luxurios complex at Vale de Lobo is stunning, clean and never overcrowded, even in July, and stretches for miles in each direction. you can free-park very close to the beach and it is approximately 2 miles from the villa.
We will return to this Villa again soon for sure, and would recommend it to anyone that wants to spend time in a beautiful part of the world with fantastic accomodation, great weather where you can do as much or as little as you want.
