LA LATINA, BEST TAPAS AREA!! IN THE HEART MADRID PUERTA DEL SOL, WIFI, LIFT

My wife, her sister, her husband, and I spent three nights here in September. We are from Florida and they live in England, so we thought the weather was wonderful; they used the A/C at night. The place has a good location that allows you to walk to all the major attractions. We only used the subway on the day we left to go to the train station and we only used a cab from the airport.
The flat is very nice, clean and modern, and a real value considering decent hotel prices in the area. I really enjoy getting up and making tea and breakfast and since most of the things I like are hard to find in Madrid, the kitchen was a plus. Dinner and supper we ate in restaurants or bodegas.
Both the owner and concierge greeted us as we arrived and gave us a map and their version of places to eat and things to do and see. It was very helpful since we arrived on a Monday and thought that most of what we wanted to tour was closed; they knew the Reina Sofia was open. Nice folks!
Two things to consider. First the master bedroom is great and the second bedroom is not the master. On arrival I claimed the second bedroom since Jeannie had booked Madrid but after a brief fight they moved into the second bedroom. Since we were only there to sleep and the apartment was spacious it really wasn't an issue, but over the years it sometimes is with other couples we have traveled with. Second there is wifi but I was not able to get it to work and should have booted up while they were there with us. We could have contacted them but I didn't need the internet until Seville so never bothered to resolve the issue - there was a signal but the password was not sufficient to log on.
