Luxury stone villa with private pool, with views of the messinian bay.

The photographs on the site do not prepare you for the absolutely stunning views from this villa over the Stoupa coastline. Waking up each morning and looking out of the window was a joy and would have made the holiday brilliant regardless of the rest.
The villa itself is close to perfect, with a very high quality finish throughout, comfortable beds/sofas, attention to detail and excellent media facilities. As well as satellite TV (only a few English language channels, but a subtitle facility), the owner provides a media centre with recorded movies, shows, documentaries etc. If you ever tire of the views, then there is plenty to watch. We swam every day in the lovely private pool, cleaned every 2/3 days by the owner himself. The owner and his family provided a first class and friendly, personal service, with everything we needed/wanted available. We would perhaps have found it useful to have some information in the villa about Stoupa itself and what the area had to offer, but we did have fun finding out ourselves.
The villa is private without being isolated and within 5 minutes drive from the seafront, with restaurants and a couple of good supermarkets nearby. We ate out a few times, but also had some lazy evenings on the balcony at the villa enjoying simple food, wine and, of course, ouzo. The location is also good for visiting other local areas and exploring some of the small villages to experience some authentic Greek atmosphere.
A car is essential to get the most out of the holiday, although we did meet people who used the local buses and/or hired bicycles to get around. We arranged airport transfers and car hire through the owner at very reasonable rates and extremely convenient - no hassle of queues and paperwork at the airport.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Villa Panorama and would highly recommend it for those looking for a relaxing holiday in excellent quality accommodation.

I would recommend this villa to anyone. Peaceful location, great views, very well equipped. A car is necessary and the owner can arrange car rental. I was impressed with how everything was arranged for us, without us having to move a finger. Ideal place for writers and people who can work from home - combining work with holidays.
