Georgeous private poolside villa in relaxing surroundings in Kalamaki

Management Company/Welcome Packs/Eating Out:

We have an excellent Management Company looking after our property and the complex.The manager and her colleagues do an excellent job & are on hand should you require anything.We have a gardener who looks after the grounds & cleans the swimming pools on a daily basis.The Management Company can also arrange for a Welcome Pack to be left in the property upon your arrival, at an extra charge.This pack would include the basics like water, milk, juice etc. to get you started when you arrive. High chairs and cots can also be provided if necessary. For eating out we would recommend the following restaurants: Michaelo's Restaurant-on the way to Kalamaki town,very popular, great food. Heaven's Kitchen-on the main Kalamaki strip,great food & inexpensive.Essence-on the way down to the beach a fabulous restaurant with high class food and inexpensive. We would also recommend the Cave Bar for a relaxing drink in Kalamaki town.

Other Facilities/Getting around:

The property is fully fitted with mosquito nets on all windows, along with pull down shutters. The patio area downstairs & upstairs balcony have tables and chairs with cushions for extra comfort.Our property which is Villa number 14 is the first house on the left hand side as you enter the complex.The entrance into the complex is via 2 secured doors.An intercom is also provided at the entrance for extra security.A safety deposit box, & a key safe is also provided for your convenience, both are free of charge.It is very easy to get around either by foot, car, taxi or public transport.Taxis charge 5euro in the area of Kalamaki.The town & beach are within walking distance of the property.Public transport is also available,the nearest bus stop is a couple of minutes away. However, the best way to see the island is if you hire a car.

Air Conditioning:

Due to the very high cost of electricity, there will be an extra charge of €35 per week for air conditioning. This is optional. If you decide you would like air conditioning please inform us at the time of booking, so that we can arrange to have the air conditioning remote controls left in the property for your use. If you do not require air conditioning the remote controls will not be left in the property for the duration of your stay. We would ask that the A/C is not left on for long periods of time, as this causes overloading of the system.

Group bookings:

Please note the owner will not accept large group bookings or groups of young people. Please also note that the owner must be informed at the time of booking of the number of persons who will occupy the property for the duration of the booking, and reserves the right to refuse the booking on arrival if the numbers are incorrect.

Supermarkets:

A couple of minutes walk from the house and you will find a small supermarket called Dollas, and a medium sized supermarket called Christos which you will find most items you require. However, if you have a car there is a Lidl supermarket near the airport, and in the main town of Zante there is a Eurospar and Dia supermarket.

Internet:

In the Hotel Dollas across the road there is Internet access, and in many places in Kalamaki you will find Internet cafes.

Breakfast:

If you don't feel like cooking we would recommend the English breakfast which is served also in the Hotel Dollas across the road.

Other Activities:

The waterpark is 20 minutes away by car or by public transport
