This delightful holiday 'home from home' is located 850m from the nearest beach (Centianes) and 4 mins drive to the charming seaside town of Carvoeiro, with its many shops, bars, and restaurants. The property is set within Vila Golfemar which is a small private development, overlooking Vale do Milho's beautifully landscaped par 3 golf course, where the stylish linked villas are set in immaculate grounds with its own attractive pool complex. The villa is stylishly furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with 32' freeview TV (sky freeview channels available only), and a central sound system enabling speakers to optionally play music in every room (bathrooms too! however unavailable in bedroom 3 . The entrance floor has an excellently fitted kitchen, with a door to a useful outside utility area, a luxury cloakroom, a pretty, bright and spacious open plan dining/living room , with two sets of patio doors opening on to a furnished corner terrace with BBQ & wonderful views of the sea and golf course. A sweeping tiled circular staircase leads down to the lower level, with 3 double bedrooms. The main bedrooms has air conditioning and a luxury ensuite bath with shower and sliding doors to the private garden. The second bedroom also has air conditioning and sliding doors to the garden and shares a shower room with bedroom 3 (accessed through the shower room) This lovely villa is within 3/15 minutes drive of the glorious beaches, Golf & Tennis Clubs, Water Parks & Zoomarine

Golf Information: Vale do Milho is a 9 hole, par 3 course designed by Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas. The course provides a real challenge throughout it's 926 metres for all standards of players. Facilities include a lounge bar, restaurant, well stocked shop, snooker room and golf school.

Pestana & Gramacho 18 hole courses are a 10 minute drive away.

Please ask if you want to borrow golf clubs - two sets are available, one ladies and one mans, with wood / putter and 11 and 8 irons respectively, for £15 each per week. These are free for guests staying for two weeks or more.

Tennis Information: Carvoeiro has two welcoming Tennis Clubs. Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis is set around a swimming pool, with 12 courts offering a variety of hard / clay court surfaces, and a practice wall. There are regular club sessions where you can mix in with members and others on holiday. There is a fully equipped gym, hairdressing salon, well being / massage treatments, aerobics studio, table tennis, table football, and a snack bar which sells great coffee!

The other club, at Rocha Brava, has 4 courts and is just a 10 minute walk from the villa, and has club sessions for all-comers on most afternoons.

Group or individual coaching can be arranged at either club.

The villa is overlooking the Vale de Milho golf course, which is 5 minutes drive to the charming fishing village of Carvoeiro, with its cliff-sided beach, quaint shops, bars / live music, and wide selection of restaurants. It is 600 metres from Rocha Brava (tennis / restaurants), and 800 metres from the nearest beach (Centianes). The property is within 3-15 mins drive of some of the most beautiful beaches and coves in the Algarve, including Caneiros, Algar Seco, Praia Grande and Marinha beach, the famous 'Algarve Postcard'! Also within a leisurely 10-20 mins drive are 18-hole golf courses (Gramacho and Pinta), Water Parks (Slide and Splash, and Aqualand), the Algarve shopping centre at Guia, Crazy World (mini-golf / zoo) and the Zoomarine Sea Life centre with rides and live shows. There are boat trips taking in the caves and the spectacular coastline, or you can drive to the castle at Silves, the mountains of Monchique, or head for the West Coast with its Atlantic rollers. Something for everyone.

    Security Deposit required. 150 £/euros - payable with balance & returned within a week of exit once villa checked for breakages/excess cleaning
    Balance to be paid 10 weeks prior to arrival.
    Maid service provided for each additional week, plus 24 hour assistance and call out service for emergency repairs. Please note that for any call outs from our manager that are not an emergency and cannot be dealt with over the telephone will be charged at 30 euros per hour.
    Prices include all linen and towels (except beach towels) which are changed weekly with a full cleaning of the Villa.
    Special offers for bookings of more than 2 week
  • Security Deposit of 150 pounds or euros to be sent with the balance of rental and will be returned within one week, all being well, following a check of the property at the end of your stay.

  • All bedrooms are of an excellent size and newly fitted and decorated throughout consisting of 1 large Master suite with private bath/shower , 2 large twins (one with separate entrance and small dressing area), 1 small sofa bed (twin settee) in living room, cot available. The property will sleep 6 adults and 1 infant (under 2) comfortably. In addition the sofa bed could accommodate a 7th adult. There is a safe in Bedroom 2 for securing valuables. There is a second television for DVD use only in bedroom 3.

Notes:
Dining room table seats six however there are plenty of additional chairs, and the terrace table seats 6+ so tables can be moved to accommodate larger parties. The accommodation is on 2 levels & consists of separate kitchen, sitting room/diner & cloakroom on one level with stairs leading down to the 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The living area opens onto a large terrace. 2 of the bedrooms open onto a small terrace and garden area with sun beds, & the third has its own separate entrance. The upper terrace is furnished with dining table and chairs. Furnishings & equipment throughout are of a high standard and all necessary cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. There is 32 inch Satellite TV with a wide range of freeview channels. There is a Central Sound Music system which provides sound to every room, including shower & bathroom! Wood burning fire in the lounge for those romantic winter evenings! Please note no beach towels are provided and smoking is encouraged outside only

Fantastic Holiday

Lovely well equipped villa in a peaceful area next to a golf course. Sue the owner was extremely helpful when we wanted to book her villa with less than 24 hours notice, nothing was too much trouble.
The complex that it is on is beautifully maintained with a fab pool that we generally had to ourselves. It is about 10 minutes walk to a couple of great restaurants (Julio's being a firm favourite) and a 20 min leisurely walk (with 2 young children in tow) to the nearest gorgeous beach. Many more nice beaches are within 5 - 10 mins drive and the local town with many restaurants is about 3km away.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and area and hope to visit again soon.

A wonderful Portugese house!

For a long time we had looked forward to our planned five weeks in Vila Sha, and if possible, the place was even better than what we had expected. The house is spacious enough for the 7 people we were at times. The outdoor area (terrace) is a wonderful place for meals. At night we enjoyed the beautiful sunset. During night the light from the lighthous swept over the area. We also used the lovely pool, which was enjoyable and not too crowded during our stay. The house was clean and well prepared for us at arrival.The owners, Sue and Mike, are wonderful people, and Sue took very good care of us during our stay. We would love to come back Vila Sha and Portugal another year!

An ideal holiday home

This is the first time we had ever gone solo in booking a villa and flights without the assistance of a travel agent. Sue Henry made the process for us very easy in all her help and guidance provided before and after booking. The villa and surrounding area are delightful. The shops, restaurants and beach are all within walking distance of the property but it is still tucked away from busy roads and built up areas. It all made out for a lovely relaxing time to suit an age range from 14 up to 80! Zoomarine and Splash and Slide are a must for a visit with children and both within 20-30 minutes drive. The coastline walks and views from the nearby lighthouse are simply breathtaking (just make sure you pack some sturdy shoes or trainers). I only hope we get the chance to return sooner rather than later. Thanks Sue for sharing your beautiful villa so that we can all enjoy a small slice of the easy way of life and pace of the Algarve. Highly recommended to get away from the stresses and strains of a working life in the UK!

The villa was perfect equipped with everything for a perfect holiday.
The swimming pool was very quiet and perfect for our young grandchild.
Everything in the villa was spotlessly clean.
Will definitely be returning next year.

The Villa was very nice in all aspects, we enjoyed the stay, and would seriously consider returning. We really enjoyed the stay in this spacious flat and the well maintained villa area.

The only thing we would comment is that quite a few of the plates and glasses in the kitchen were dirty as we arrived, and we had to clean them before use.
