Situated in the heart of the ‘Portes du Soleil’ ski area, the largest international ski area in the world, Morzine, which is only an hour’s drive from Geneva airport, retains all the charm of a traditional French village.
The architecture is distinctly Savoyarde, with beautiful old farmhouses and chalets dotted through the town. Morzine also boasts lively apres ski and shops to suit all.
Access to Avoriaz is via the SuperMorzine telecabine - only 150 meters from the chalet.
From there you have the whole of the 650kms of the Portes Du Soleil ski area on your doorstep.
For the non-skier Morzine has a stunning new indoor swimming pool complex, within easy reach of the chalet. Snow shoe walking, husky rides, ice skating and tobogganing are just some of the many activities on offer during the winter.
In the summer, Morzine has endless activites on offer - from mountain biking to mountain hiking, from white water rafting to paragliding. Or why not visit Evian or Annecy?
Ski: Morzine has an amazing 650kms of slopes stretching all the way from France into Switzerland.
Intermediate skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of our ski guide, who 2 days of the week will take you far and wide to explore the amazing Portes Du Soleil ski area. This is a great service which adds enormously to the enjoyment of your holiday.
The Portes Du Soleil boasts many snow parks, some lovely off piste bowls and huge amounts of skiing for the intermediate and advanced skiers.
For the beginners, lessons on the Pleney slopes are easily accessed from the chalets. There are many beautiful tree lined runs in this area extending into the village of Les Gets. Soon you will be cruising the blue runs effortlessly, taking in the stunning scenery, with amazing views over to Mont Blanc.
