Ali and I bought this house for a number of reasons. The primary reason for buying the property was for us to be able to enjoy family holidays with our three children, especially while they are young. Another key reason was partly selfish because I love bird watching and coming here with my brother who is also an avid birdwatcher. Finally of course we saw it as an opportunity to rent this property out to other people who may also enjoy it for these and other reasons! :)
Because it is so well located to the best birdwatching arguably in Europe and also because it is off the beaten track with as few Brits as possible :). We also chose this part of Andalucía because we wanted to ensure that the weather would be as good as possible, ie South Spain should be more regularly warm and lovely compared to say France or Northern Spain.
As mentioned pretty unrivalled access to wildlife and very much off the beaten track. The cowboy town of El Rocio is totally unique.
