Pavillon Georgette - un goût de paradis!

This was our second visit and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time!
The house itself is very comfortable - fully furnished, well-equipped, and with plenty of hot water. It has a lot of character and is very French, with a marble circular staircase. The main bedroom has white walls and black metal furniture, with framed black and white photos on the walls: surfacing on the first morning was like waking up in a film like Casablanca or Brief Encounter! The ground floor includes a garage, and a studio flat with its own amenities.
Shops and a choice of good restaurants are within easy walking distance. The small town of Amelie is set in a beautiful valley, and there are wonderful walks in the vicinity. Arles sur Tech and les Gorges du Fou are nearby and well worth a visit.
The attractive Mediterranean resort of Argelès is easily reached, and day trips can be made to northern Spain, and to attractions in France like the city of Perpignan and the medieval walled town of Carcassonne.
