It is only 10 houses from popular north One Mile beach and 10 houses from the fourth tee of Forster Golf Course.

Top level - Large open plan living area with lounge, dining and new kitchen plus balconies front and back.

Middle level - Main bedroom (queen bed) with walk-in robe, luggage shelf and 2 comfy single lounges; 2nd bedroom (2 single beds) has built-in robe; bathroom has shower over 'hip bath' and toilet.

Ground level - 3rd (queen bed) and 4th (2 single beds) bedrooms, new combined ensuite/laundry, children's TV room, large undercover entertainment area and double garage.

Great place for a quiet week or weekend!

We have stayed here a few times now, 2 families with Jet-skis and a boat.
House is split level with 2 self contained areas, perfect for 2 families.
Outdoor BBQ area is great for a beer out of the sun after a long day outside.
Very short walk to beach, sand dune, and golf course.
Front yard has heaps of room for boat parking on the grass for flushing the motors out, nice quiet street, plenty of street parking too.
Home Theater setup is great for movies or Playstation.
House gets a little stuffy on a hot day, but open the windows for a great sea breeze, can even hear the waves.
This place is a winner all round, highly recommended.

Our property has been steadily increasing in popularity as we have more holiday makers stay and make the most of their get away with the house being so close to the beach yet is very central to the shopping centre, restaurants and all the other great amenities the Great Lakes area has on offer.

Had a GREAT TIME!!!!

We stayed here for a week recently and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is very well appointed and maintained to the highest standard. It is extremely close for a surf or a stroll or jog along the surf beach, and only a short walk to the Golf Club House where you can get a great meal and a cold beer. Take your clubs over to play 9 holes for only $15 after 4PM. The large Stockland Shopping Centre is just over the hill, and Forster main street is only a pleasant walk away via the scenic headland. Forster enjoys some of the best climate is Australia.

We are still so close to Sydney and with the improvements in the highway all the time, Forster is getting closer and closer to enable the weekend get aways.

Great family house

This house was just lovely - it's almost better than it's photos. Very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, bowls, glasses etc. Plenty of space for everyone, and it was good to have a seperate downstairs tv/playroom for the kids. Lovely quiet location.

Important to note that the twin and double room downstairs are interconnecting - this was great for us, as the kids could sleep in the room next to their parents.

The main bathroom is a bit on the old side, it hasnt been done up like the rest of the house. However, it is still very clean and functional.

The only improvements would be a dishwasher, aircon, and some bug spray, as large ants came into the kitchen every evening.

Overall we had a great stay, and would definatley recommend this house.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. We have endeavured to make our guests stay as comfortable and healthy as possible.
In the 13 years we have owned the property, the fresh sea breeze has so far cooled the house, because the beach is only 10 houses away at the end of the street. We have taken your suggestion fr an air conditioner on board, and if there is enough concern, we will reconsider our approach to the matter.
Ants are a common seasonal problem in coastal areas and we do endeavour to keep them away without the use of harsh chemicals and surface sprays which could harm younger guests.
We will continue to treat for pests, but at this point, we are unable to leave pesticides unsupervised in a holiday rental.

Other local amenites include:- beaches, the famous Wallis Lake system - great for the keen fisherman , numerous nature walks and lookouts. A coastal rainforest walk with plant identity plates is situated between North One Mile Beach and Forster Golf Course (only a short walk away), and State Forest walks are within easy day driving distances.

Whale watching and dolphin watch cruises are a favourite activity for tourists and locals alike.

Forster is reknowned for its oysters and restaurants. Lake activities include BBQ boat hire, paddle boats, kayaks, fishing charter trips.

Several medical centres, Dentists and a local Private Hospital with an Emergency Department are available should the unthinkable occur.
