Overview

Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday condo in Asheville - Skyloft 301

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This quaint 850 square foot condo is ideal for any traveler, where sunlight is abundant and convenience is supreme. MUSIC, ART, BOUTIQUE SHOPPING, MICRO-BREWERIES, TAILGATE MARKET, GROCERY STORES, TOP RESTAURANTS are ALL less than a 10 minute walk or a safe bike ride on sidewalks and in bike lanes to the center of Asheville.

Located within sight and sound of all the action, the views are paramount.

Exactly 1 mile from Pack Square, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the heart of the historic and central business district of downtown Asheville.

Inquire with owner about the best of Asheville and all of what western North Carolina has to offer.

The condo is newly built , quality green construction, which includes bamboo and cork flooring. It is decorated with a mix of American antiques, original artwork and mid-century modern, contemporary furniture.

Designed by a local architect, the condo's layout is open, and the main living area comfortably seats 5-6 adults. It has high-speed internet, with plenty of workspace to spread out, making it also an excellent spot for an executive stay. Our condo building is quiet and all the neighbors are very respectful.

Its equipped with high-end stainless appliances and upscale furnishings. The large concrete counter tops, along with the kitchen island with the large sink, provide plenty of room to prepare food, and a fantastic area to cook while being together with others.

The location is easy to find, with plenty of street parking, and one designated garage parking space.

By car, its only 5 minutes to any excellent grocery store in the area, and of course many restaurants and scenic attractions. The French Broad Food Co-op is the nearest grocery store.

Quickly access the Blue Ridge Parkway via Town Mountain Road, mountain bike Bent Creek, or spend the day at Biltmore Estate, all within 15 minutes. Downtown is just a few blocks away, and by car is a matter of minutes until you are parked and hanging out in the heart of historic central business district of Asheville with all the shops, restaurants, galleries, breweries and music venues.

Unwind with a spectacular view of the oldest mountains in the world and expect gorgeous sunsets from the dinning table. Watch from the romeo and juliet balcony, as the historic downtown cityscape lights-up for your evening. The double doors open to the railing across the frame of these doors.

Walk to hear music at The Orange Peel or watch a minor league baseball game and then have a great meal at any number of top-notch restaurants downtown. The condo is just below a 30 acre wooded city park on Beaucatcher Mountain. Its an easy escape to the urban forest, for a run, walk or mountain bike ride, making this spot the best of both worlds- the city and the mountains- all in one.

About Sarah

I love this town! Its been home for more than 11 years and exploring all that the area has to offer is what I love to do best. I spend my time managing vacation rental properties, going to music and art shows, hiking and volunteering for one of the best non-profits in town, LEAF Community Arts (theLEAF.com) .

Sarah purchased this condo in 2008

Why Sarah chose Asheville

I chose to live in Asheville for many of the same reasons you may be visiting. I often feel like I'm on vacation when in Asheville! We're grateful you've chosen to visit Asheville, for whatever reason, and encourage you to shop and buy local during your visit, as it helps maintain so many of the wonderful aspects of our town. Its a wonderful community that I enjoy sharing, so please let me know how I can make your visit memorable.

What makes this condo unique

Out of any window, the views are fantastic. Whether its a sunny, blue-sky day or a misty mountain morning, I always find it fun to look out into the distance, overlooking my town. I've designed and decorated the condo with comfort, organization and quality in mind. I share with guests all the amenities I would want at a vacation rental, so I hope you enjoy it, like I have.

I know this area well and would gladly share with you all of what's going on and when. Thanks for your interest in my rental!

Beautiful Condo

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo for the weekend and we couldn't have been happier! The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with anything we could possibly need. The location was perfect--just a minute from downtown. We can't wait to go back to Asheville and would love to stay here again.

Place was just like the photo's. Location was perfect for walking into Asheville in the evenings. We also brought our electric bikes, and having the garage and plug right there was priceless. Highly recommend, you feel like your staying at a 5 star hotel, Jim and Rachel Allen

Very comfortable Asheville condo. Nicely furnished and clean. Only minutes away from downtown. Highly recommend Curate (Spanish Tapas) and the Market Place restaurants. Excellent food and great selection of breweries.

Nice condo close to downtown. No problems at all. Only suggestion would be to get window coverings for the main living area. Other than that a great place to stay while in Asheville.

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

The place was lovely and very well furnished and supplied. Great sunset view - having the garage and elevator a big plus. TV in bedroom would be nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. Cable TV for more channel selections would be nice. Thanks, we really enjoyed ourselves!

Owner's Response: Thank you Vickie! I have gone back and forth about subscribing to more tv channels. I understand the interest, however, many guests tell me they come to Asheville to be outside, exploring all the local attractions and are just as content at the end of a busy watching a good movie on Netflix or watching a television show on Hulu on any one of the major networks that you can easily select, by following the instructions on the house manual welcome sheets. 3 PBS channels, Fox, ABC and CBS come in clearly with the bunny ears and I have a huge collection of books as well. Personally, I do not believe in having a television in the bedroom and do not watch a lot of TV in general nor on vacation, but certainly understand when those that do may not enjoy being without it. I appreciate you taking the time to provide positive feedback and helpful suggestions. I'm glad you found it to be comfortable and a 5 star stay!

Confortable, clean and close to town

Enjoyed being able to walk to stadium for Tourist's baseball game, beers at Wicked Weed and dinner at Limones. Quiet with beautiful views of Asheville. Sarah was very easy to work with on the reservation and everything was as described on VRBO.
