Beautiful family resort based on a tranquil Bali theme, with outstanding views

The Regency Country Club is an excellent new resort located in the exclusive area of Chayofa, just minutes from Los Cristianos on Tenerife 's southern edge.

Styled in a theme based on the exotic island of Bali , the natural stone and hand-carved statues found around the resort are complemented by fabulous furniture and marble floors throughout the public areas, also which offer panoramic views over the enormous infinity pool and gardens.
Nearest Airport : Reina Sofia (TFS) at 13 Kilometres
Car: recommended

A family friendly resort, with self catering apartments located near the beach and mountains. With in a few minutes of the Jungle Park as well as the all new Siam Park. We have a free bus service that takes you to the Los Cristanos, Playa Las Americas, and Del Duque beaches, As well as key shopping areas and restaurants.

We also provide rentals for Quads, Biking and Motorcycles, as well as car rentals, all available at our 24 hour reception.

Recently back from here for a Easter Break with my partner and 8 year old daughter, we found the childrens club and facilities very good, the pool area is fantastic and lovely to chill back and relax, whilst the resort is not in the town center we had the option of staying on the resort with nice restaurants or bar snacks or taking the free courtesy bus to the local beaches for the day not more than 5 minutes, which we found ideal. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious and fully catered for self catering and quite luxurious so we were happy to stay on the resort some evenings with the good entertainment or just relax on the balcony with a view of the pool & sea.
As we were on a promotional holiday it was well worth the price we would revisit in the future.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Okay..but....

....if we were told it was a timeshare and there was an expectation of a 90 minutes meeting (which we are told lasted 6 hours in some cases) we fortunately managed to avoid this but were chased around the resort almost!!!.
Positives are a fantastic pool and a great resteraunt next door.
The rooms were very tired, dated and cluttered and some )ours) are hidden from any sun or view.
The gym, well if you like fitness avoid the dated equipment stored in a tent.
The weather was good which was the saving grace but no way unfortunatly was the resort anything more than 3*
Sorry but true.

Our stay at the Country Club was fantastic. The staff was 100% helfull in any queries we had, and tried their best to accommadate to every thing we requested, ie, Cot, Stair gate, Cot linen, Saftey Rail for Toddlers bed. We would reccomend the resort to anyone.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities
