Photos and Description of this 6 bedroom holiday cabin in Aitkin - Ross Lake Chalet
Cabin, 4 Bedrooms + Sunroom, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10-20)
There is a beautiful Lake Home near the Brainerd Lakes Area, between Aitkin & Emily MN on Ross Lake just over 2 hours from the Twin Cities.
It is a place to bring your family and friends for a relaxing time. The house sleeps 10+people in four private bedrooms including a master suite loft with a King Size Log bed & private bath. Two additional full bathrooms serve the remainder of the house. Additional space for porta-cribs, airbeds and sleeping on four available couches. You have all the amenities of home, dishwasher, microwave, stove, washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes for a crowd.
Ross Lake is located southeast of Emily in northeastern Crow Wing County. A state maintained public boat access to the lake is on the northeast corner of the lake off of County Road 36, about eight miles east of Highway 6. Ross Lake is about 490 acres and has a maximum depth of 30 ft. A fishery population assessment was done in August 2006 to assess the fish community. Black crappies were the most abundant fish with a catch well above normal compared to other similar lakes in Minnesota.

This is our forever home- the place we will retire! We love the 'camping in luxury' experience our 2,500 sq foot home provides.
Amy purchased this cabin in 2008
Why Amy chose Aitkin
Neighbors are close enough for safety, but far enough away for privacy. Unique position of house on lot allows breathtaking lake & sunset views but no views of any other cabins.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Our church circle found our accommodations for 12 to be very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms and a large number of bathrooms allowed for everyone to have a relaxing stay. The large eating space, dishwasher and beautiful kitchen gave us all the conveniences of home. The gorgeous view of the lake was perfect for enjoying coffee and conversation. The grounds allowed for outdoor games and the beach was nice for swimming. We certainly plan to return and have wonderful memories of Ross Lake.
