Chilled Out Holiday

5 out of 5
Review Submitted: 19 August 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We have just spent a wonderful week at Hendwr and have come back totally chilled out! We normally go camping but for a change decided to stay in a log cabin. Good job we did, as we reckon it was the wettest first week in August on record. This didn't matter though as we all had a fantastic time touring North Wales, as well as climbing Snowdon! The lodge was warm, clean (and dry!) and perfect for our family of 4 - our lodge was the one by the stream and the children spent many hours paddling and playing in the water (even in the rain) - it was great for them to have the freedom to get wet and dirty. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
A thoroughly good time was had by all.

Llynor Lodge -an experience not to be missed

5 out of 5
Review Submitted: 04 January 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
Myself, my partner and his mother have been coming to Llynor Lodge for several years now. The owners are friendly and helpful and provide an excellent customer service. The lodges are situated in a beautiful rural setting offering peace and tranquility. The surrounding countryside offers something for all interests - walking, climbing, fishing, eating, drinking, exploring and are in a great position to make more extended visits to such places as Harlech, Barmouth, Chester, Wrexham, Llangollen, Erddig Gardens or Port Meirion to name just a few. As well as exploring the lakesides around Bala (Llyn Tegid) and Lake Vyrnwy - for those interested in fishing day or weekly licences are available locally.
The lodge is comfortable, well laid out and contains all 'mod cons'.
There are a number of very good eating establishments in the surrounding area. One we would highly recommend is the Bryntirion Inn only a few miles away, where a friendly welcome is always given and the food is excellent and home cooked.
This is one of the few places we have felt we wanted to re-visit time and again.
Simone.

Scandinavian lodge in the picturesque Dee valley

4 out of 5
Review Submitted: 02 September 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
John was very friendly and helpful. Lodge in quiet area of caravan park, and although a little dated in decor and that the shower was not sufficient for anyone over 4'6", the lodge was of a good standard.
Location ideal for all activities in Snowdonia.
Would stay again if visiting Wales (I'll take a extra long shower hose though!!)
