Ground floor:

Living room with satellite TV and dining room, both opening on a large panoramic patio terrace, kitchen.

First floor:

Large studio with double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Outside there's a wide patio with dining table, barbecue and oven, the view by the pool is great from there, the garden ends in a private wood of chestnuts and old oaks.

This property is perfect for lovers of peace and quiet.

Charming Casa Bianca

Beautifully clean - plenty of warm bedding provided as March can be chilly - and when we arrived there had been snow! Although we had plenty of sunny days too.

Well equipped, lovely location, well off the beaten track but enchanting Cefalu a short drive away. No need for long trips out from here, with interesting hill towns and within Madonie Parc there is plenty nearby to visit.

The owner, Pamela, was extremely helpful and Casa Bianca is cosy with a rustic charm, which we loved.

A lovely setting. Quiet and set in a bowl high up in the hills above Cefalu. Owners very friendly and helpful. Speaks good English. Property done up to a high standard, everything old world cottage style.
We were only there two nights but would recommend.
Cefalu has great beach and eating places.
No sea view from the property, as it is behind trees and bushes.

Beautiful Cottage

I could not agree more with all of the other reviewers about this beautiful little cottage. We stayed for 6 days at the beginning of May this year and would love to come back again.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Everything is provided to make sure that you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. There is a lovely wood burning stove which we lit every night as the temperature dropped quite a lot in the evening at this time of year. The weather during the days was beautiful though, and we spent hours reading on the sunny terrace in front of the cottage.

It is in a truly idylic spot, high up in the Madonie Mountains, but still only 20 minutes from the pretty seaside town of Cefalu, where there is an excellent sandy beach. The cottage sits in extensive and beautiful gardens, so you are surrounded by birdsong and flowers.

The owner, Pamela was welcoming and helpful. She was also easily contactable both in advance and throughout our stay.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was a wonderful, romantic cottage for two.

We really enjoyed our stay in "casa bianca": A lovingly furnished little house in great colours and equipped for all needs, placed in a great mediterranean landscape with a nice pool and very friendly owners. We will come again!

Casa Biana review - a lovely place to stay!

What a wonderful place! This was our first trip to Sicily and we were extremely lucky to choose Casa Bianca. We booked on the basis of reviews on this website and we were not disappointed. The house is beautifully decorated, with a wood burning stove, a very well equiped kitchen and a very comfortable, pretty bedroom.

The Madonie mountains act as a perfect backdrop to the beautiful grounds, where we enjoyed evening drinks on the private terrace surrounded by the grapevines, fig trees and herbs. The house is also near Cefalu which is a lovely historic seaside town, perfect for beaside lunches, swimming and shopping down the winding streets with lots of local ceramics for sale.

We went at the end of May which was really warm during the day (great for all the long walks we did) and rather chilly at night (made very cosy by the wood burning stove). A nature lovers paradise with so many flowers in bloom. Excursions to some of the more popular destinations such as Mount Etna and Agregento are all very manageable (around 2.5hrs each way) and the supermarket in Cefalu (20min drive) stocks all that is required. A car is not essential but I can imagine it would have been a bit of a struggle without.

Pamela and her family were very welcoming and helpful with any queries. The houses are on each side of the grounds, so Casa Biana feels very private.

Overall, we couldn't recommend it enough! Thank you!!
