2 bedrooms, lounge, separate kitchen, power shower and 2 toilets. Opposite park.

A beautiful, honey-coloured, sandstone, traditional 19th Century Parisian apartment building with a large, secure, double carriage door entry way fitted with an access code lock. On opening one enters a tiled court yard with a further glass security door and entry system and then on into the apartment block proper. The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed either via the lift or by a beautifully refurbushed, tradition, wooden stairway.

The apartment has a large reception hall with polished, hardwood flooring, period cornice and feature lighting and window onto interior courtyard.

Separate, newly fitted kitchen with quality units, hardwood work surfaces, hardwood flooring and feature lighting.

Shower room with 1.2m shower enclosure and pressurised shower, toilet and wash hand basin; fully tiled with heated floor and feature lighting.

Cloakroom with wash hand basin, vanity unit and toilet.

Large triple bedroom, again with period features and two large windows overlooking the well maintained park opposite, an additional pull out bed and period light fittings.

The second bedroom has a four poster bed and period light fittings and a large window onto the internal courtyard.

A lounge again with period features and two large bay windows overlooking park. There is a table and chairs for dining and 2 settees, one a bed settee for agreed party's larger than 4.

Period features throughout the apartment. Free wifi throughout the apartment.

  • The shower room is fully tiled with a heated floor and shaver light and plug. there is a double sized shower cubicle and a high and low shower head. There is also a toilet and washbasin. the cloakroom has a toilet and vanity unit with washbasin, very useful if someone is showering! This second toilet has a tiled floor also. Both toilets have extractor fans . Some toilet paper and soap are provided on arrival, along with towels. Most cleaning materials and cloths can be found in the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen. All extractor fans switch on automatically, and will switch off when the light is put off (after a delay) Younger children should be supervised when thay are using the bathrooms and kitchen as there is hot water.

  • The double bed is a king size four poster bed with drapes at the back. The 3 single beds are all three foot beds with proper mattresses. The 3rd single bed pulls out from underneath one of the others, allowing plenty of room when pushed away during the day. The bed settee is double sized and has a sprung mattress. All the beds have comfortable mattresses. The bedrooms are separate rooms with their own doors....no odd arrangements as can be found in some apartments where you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other. The bathroom is separate and off the main hall, as is the kitchen and cloakroom. Bedrooms are all double glazed and carpeted for comfort and insulation.

There is a lift to our apartment, although being on the first floor, this may not always be considered necessary. Entry lights are on sensor, so no fumbling for the light switch. Some soap and toilet paper is provided, although you may have to buy more depending on the length of your stay. We aim to provide dishwasher powder, cleaning materials, filters for the coffee machine, water softening salt for the dishwasher and laundry soap. These can occassionally be abused by clients, and we apologise should you find any of the above not present. They are, however at our discretion and a convenience offered free and in addition to your contract. Please supervise young children at all times. The wireless internet and TV signal are both beyond our local control, so please understand should you find either not working

Gute Basis für Paris-Entdeckungen!

Unsere fünfköpfige Familie hatte das Apartment für drei Tage als Ausgangsbasis für die Entdeckung der vielfältigen Sehenswürdigkeiten Paris genutzt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, und fanden alles, wie in der Beschreibung genannt, vor.
Das Auto parkte sicher in der gegenüberliegenden Tiefgarage, nicht billig, aber komfortabel. Zur Metro, kleinen Lebensmittelgeschäften und Bäckereien sind es nur wenige Schritte.
Wir wählten das Apartment als Alternative zu einem Hotel, und dies war richtig:
die Küche bietet keinen gehobenen Komfort, die Ausstattung mit Gläsern und Geschirr ist "basic", der automatische Ventilator verrichtet hörbar seinen Job. Wer aber keine opulenten Mahlzeiten zubereiten möchte, kommt gut zurecht.
Die Ausstattung der Bäder ist ebenso funktionell, alles funktioniert. Dass Ablagemöglichkeiten, oder weitere Handtuchhalter fehlen, ist den Platzverhältnissen geschuldet.
Geschlafen haben wir bestens! Dies lag sicherlich auch an unserem strammen Besuchsprogramm, was wir meist zu Fuß absolvierten, aber auch an den Betten. Von der nahen Straße war im Apartment nichts zu hören.
Fazit: wir fühlten uns für eine kurze Zeit als glückliche Einwohner dieser tollen Stadt! Weiterempfehlung an Freunde: sicher! Wiederkommen? Gerne!

wir waren als 5-köpfige Reisegruppe zum Support einer Freundin die beim Paris Marathon mitlief angereist und waren mit dem Appartment sehr zufrieden, alles da was man so braucht (Handtücher, Bettwäsche , Geschirr etc.) die Lage war sehr schön so das wir zu Fuß und mit der Metro alles gut erreichen konnten.
Die Tipps und die Abwicklung war sehr angenehm und komplikationslos, würden wir sofort wieder buchen..

Charming unit that fitted our needs.

The apartment was exactly what we needed for our week long stay in Paris. Easy connections to public transport with a bus right outside the door and a metro less than 100 metres away.

We were able to walk from Gare Du Nord when we arrived and was met by Giavanni and shown the apartment and door codes and operations. A thoroughly delightful and helpful gentleman by the way.

We dined at his restaurant on the first night of our visit and a middle eastern restaurant across the road on our last night where the chef went out of his way to cook us some frogs legs even though they were not on the menu for that night. (good customer service)

I travelled with my wife and two teenage sons and there was more than ample room and facilities in the apartment to make our stay comfortable and fun. Boys being boys, they loved to ride the lift when we came and went.

A couple of suggestions for improvements if I could:
1 - The oven is difficult to operate if not used to this type of equipment. 3 burnt fingers and some considerable frustration later, I gave up.
If possible, perhaps some directions could be written up and left in the kitchen for guests to refer to.

2 - The bath towels were small. My son is very tall and I'm not a small guy so towels were saturated after showers and I was still not fully dried.
Perhaps bigger, more absorbant towels could be supplied.

Other then these two points, we enjoyed our stay enormously!

Lovely flat.

I stayed at Jon's appartment in February with my husband and 4 young children. It was a great place to stay. The kids loved the feeling of city living and the flat was welcoming and warm - which was important because it was sub-zero outside. There was enough room for us all and everything was beautifully clean when we arrived.
The restaurant staff below were brilliant and so lovely with the children. We cooked for ourselves as Paris is hideously expensive and it was handy that the flat was so near to a few supermarkets and to the metro.
I have recommended this flat to everyone we know as a great alternative to staying in a hotel - especially if you have children.
