The new luxury property overlooks the Glengoulandie Deer Park, beautiful scenery near Loch Tay. The location offers something for everyone from a relaxing retreat to a base for extreme adventures near Aberfeldy, the white-water rafting capital of the UK. Pitlochry is a few minutes drive and hosts some of the best outdoor activities and for the less adventurous there are great walks of golf nearby. You may want to follow the Castle or Whisky Trails or attend some of the local traditional Scottish events held inc Highland games.
Other Activities: White water rafting, archery, off roading, quad biking, paintballing, clay pigeon shooting and many other activities are available near by
Golf: There is a whole range of courses to play locally for all abilities including Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Killin, Strathtay and Taymouth Castle. However there are some more challenging and prestigious championship courses to play within a reasonable drive including Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie.
Ski: Skiing is available from late December to around Easter. Glenshee Ski Centre is only 1hrs drive from the lodge. Glenshee's impressive 21 lifts and 36 runs offer an amazing diversity of natural terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. Cairngorms Ski Centre is a bit further away but also within driving distance.
