Ocean one offers luxury in a peaceful and beautiful ocean front setting in two and three bedroom exquisitely appointed, self-catering villas capable of sleeping up to six adults. It is not a hotel but 21 privately owned luxury residences of which only a few are rented.

All units offer safe, spacious and comfortable beach front living, large glass fronted ocean view balconies with access to the communal pool, jacuzzi, gyms, beach front garden and terrace. All units are large (no less than 1389 sq.ft) and luxuriously furnished including the Italian design kitchens and bathrooms. The property also features 24 hr security, private driveway and parking, property manager and elevator access to all floors.

The convenient location is 15-20 minutes drive away from the Airport and the same distance from the main shopping and city center, Bridgetown. The property is well away from the main road and offers tropical beauty, peace and tranquility in a luxury beach front Barbados holiday rentals

Activities & Nightlife - Oistins: A trip to Barbados just isn't complete without a visit to the famous and newly renovated Oistins Fish Fry. On Friday and Saturday evenings, revelers can indulge in some flying fish and rum punch or Banks Beer. Mingle with the locals that flock to this popular hangout where tasty food, lights and great music create a delightful atmosphere of Barbados' rich fisher folk culture. Oistins upgrades include new vendor stalls, improved sanitation, lighting and entertainment facilities, yet the traditional mold remains intact.

Activities - adventure and sightseeing: After a year of redevelopment, Harrison's Cave, Barbados' most popular visitor attraction, recently re-opened during the first week of January 2008. This crystallized limestone cavern is full of stalactite and stalagmite formations creating the ultimate site for people of all ages. The newly improved cave features a fleet of six new trams -- two are wheelchair

accessible -- as well as ventilation, drainage, electrical lighting and a tracking system. Additionally, a Cave Interpretive Center has been added to the gully floor and features a multi-media presentation that holds up to 40 people, interactive displays, an enhanced passenger boarding area, washrooms, souvenir shop and snack bar.

402 is a three bedroom, three bathroom luxury self catering unit on the second floor. As with all units at Ocean One it features a large ocean view glass fronted balcony providing an incredible panoramic view of the the sea and south coast. The unit is on the fourth floor so gets incredible elevated ocean views and is an end unit so benefits from better natural lighting and more windows. Nothing is lacking for a fantastic beachfront holiday from the complete kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer to the telephone, flat screen cable TV's and wireless high speed internet. The beach has gorgeous white sand, is safe to swim and never crowded.

Ocean One is located directly on Maxwell Beach - no walk necessary and is also 15-20mins drive away from the International Airport and the same distance from the main city/shopping center Bridgetown. 5mins drive is the popular St. Lawrence Gap well known for its many dining, entertainment and partying options. 5minds away is Oistins which is known for the weekend outdoor Oistins fish fry, recently rated by Zagat. Many activities are available within a few mins drive from golf and tennis to horse racing, polo and much more.

Barbados was named the 'World's No. 1 Hotspot for Celebrities in 2007' by

internationally recognized travel website Expedia.co.uk, since the island's

beauty is captivating and the weather is simply addictive. But combine that

Several golf tournaments are hosted throughout the year, attracting participants from a number of countries including Europe and North America. In December 2006 Barbados hosted the World Golf Championships World Cup. The our-day tournament was held at the Sandy Lane Resort on the west coast of the island.

Your choice of clubs include the Rockley Golf Club, The Barbados Golf Club, Royal Westmoreland Golf Club and three courses to choose from at the posh Sandy Lane Golf Club.

In October 2004, perhaps the world's most famous golfer - Tiger Woods - chose Barbados as the venue for his wedding. The ceremony took place at Sandy Lane Golf Course.

Highly Recommend Ocean One!

Ocean One was more than we could have hoped for and highly recommend the development for anyone travelling to Barbados. The apartment was finished in the highest standards, with modern amenities, large rooms with stylish en-suite bathrooms, and a balcony with a beautiful view. The building was literally on Maxwell Beach, which was great in that it had some activity, but at the same time was quiet and secluded. The building is in a good location, with close links to the happening St. Lawrence's Gap and also a reasonably drive from the rugged and beautiful East coast. Would highly recommend Ocean One to anyone looking for comfortable, luxury accomodation in an accessible location.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

First class amenities with a great view!

A fantastic apartment (401), with a fabulous view, and a great beach to take a leisurely stroll along. Ideal for chilling out. We've stayed on the West Coast previously, and actually preferred this location. Service was good and unobtrusive. We'll certainly return to Ocean One.

Great apartment in a great location

Delighted with the accommodation and the service provided. All queries raised before booking were answered quickly and efficiently, payment of deposit and final balance was very easy. Pick up at the airport was painless and we were met on arrival and shown around the apartment.
The apartment is very well equiped, comfortable and spacious. It is right on the beach and a gentle stroll along the beach to the middle of The Gap takes less than 15 minutes.
The small shop close to the apartment has most things you need for breakfast and light meals. The supermakets in The Gap have a larger range of things if you need them.
We hope to return to Ocean One and based on our experience would not hesitate recommend the apartment.

The Only Place to Stay while in Barbados!!!!

This is the only place you want to stay in Barbados!!! Stayed here for couple of weeks, it is hard to impress NYorkers, but this place has done it and even topped it, btw I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled!!! When I booked it, I couldn't even imagine how good it will turn out to be.... Pictures on the site can't do justice to the units, fully furnished apartments, I didn't want to go out because I didn't want to offend the kitchen :), no seriously it would be a crime not to cook a meal in this fully complete kitchen equipped with high end GE appliances and fully furnished with any kitchen equipment you may think of.
Albert Scheper and his team has been very helpful throughout the booking process and the management in the building is very friendly and professional... Beach is excellent, St. Lawrence Gap and Oistins are few minutes away... Without a doubt, this is the place you want to stay on the South Coast!!! Be careful though, once you stay here you may not want to leave!:)
Definitely a place that keeps you coming back for more!!!

Ocean One 301 is exactly as advertised,very well equipped and neat,perfectly located on the beach and the kids had a ball in the pool as well.
I'm sure we will return there sometime.
