Apartment Panoramic Sagrada Familia 2: 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6

This apartment is fantastic! It had everything that my husband, young adult daughter, and I wanted. The first impression is the knockout view of la Sagrada Família's Nativity facade–absolutely breath-taking! Just to spend the week admiring that view was wonderful. To gaze upon it from a clean, sunny, spacious apartment, with complete, well-equipped kitchen was beyond my expectations. I expected some flaw, but the beds were comfy, there was plenty of space for hanging/storing clothes--there was even a washing machine.

We made several dinners in the kitchen, so we could enjoy the view of the cathedral by night at leisure. Artur even supplied us with a nice bottle of Cava as a welcome gift.

Getting to the sites in Barcelona was very easy. The weather was good, and we enjoy walking, so we walked to the Old City and the beach, as well as all around the Eixample area. When we tired, the Metro was right there--one short block away.

There was lots of shopping close by. We bought breakfast things and ate up on the roof terrace.

The only downside/possible caution--there are a lot of steps to get to this apartment, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone with mobility issues. For us, it was no problem at all.

Oh, and we did use the airport pickup service, which was very convenient. A cab would also do, but for just a little more, the personal service was nice, and the driver helped carry our bags upstairs.

What a perfect place to stay in Barcelona for 9 nights! We could not have had better hosts--or a better view of the amazing Gaudi Sagrada Familia Cathedral across the street.
My girlfriend from Australia (with her 20-yr-old daughter) and I (from Florida) have met up around the world for years, but our favorite vacation so far is beautiful Barcelona because we stayed in this cute, convenient apartment under the expert care of Arturo. He and his staff were so available and helpful before, during, and after our stay....perfect airport pick up and drop off, plus something I left behind in the master bedroom was mailed to the US immediately.
The apt is in a great location just north of the city center...we were able to live and shop like locals, walk in so many lovely directions, catch the clean, efficient Metro just steps away, and return every night to admire the Gaudi cathedral lights across the park.
It's really easy to get to Las Ramblas and the beaches and everywhere else in the Barcelona area by Metro from the apt...no need to stay in the middle of noise and traffic.
Buy a Metro pass that's good for a number of trips, and your whole party can use the same ticket. Spend lots of time walking in the winding streets and alleys of the Gothic Quarter, the Old City, Park Guell, the port. We enjoyed the aquarium, all the museums and cathedrals, tapas bars, shopping, and a side trip by train to the mountain monastery in Montserrat. There are so many things to do.
It was hard to leave our Barcelona home-away-from-home... I'd return in a minute. My girlfriend and I highly recommend that you do not hesitate booking with Arturo and Joana for your vacation.

This apartment is simply amazing and we feel so fortunate that we stumbled across it's listing on this website. Gaudi's Nest is suberbly located directly overlooking La Sagrada Familia with no other buildings in between and sitting on the rooftop terrace with a glass of cava after a busy day sightseeing was one of the key highlights of our trip to France & Spain.
The apartments are located right next to the tour bus stop, normal bus stop,the metro and taxi ranks and Artur was so helpful in directing us which transport links to use to best explore the city. He was also able to recommend 2 fantastic restaurants and make a reservation for us in a super restaurant at Port Olympico (approx 10euro in a taxi). His level of custom service was outstanding and we cannot commend him highly enough for this.

Although we had a hire car this stayed safely locked up in the secure carpark across the road for the duration of our stay. We felt very safe staying in this area of the city and would recommend it as a place to escape the crazy hustle and bustle at the end of the day.

The apartment was very, very well equipped and we could comfortably stayed here for far longer than our 2 night trip, in fact we may well return! We did not find the stairs too much of a problem (although we have no physical difficulties) and our children (age 3 & 6) thought they it was so exciting that you can climb all the way onto the roof.

I definitely recommend this accomodation and challenge anyone who stays here not to be as impressed as we were!
