We were delighted with this apartment which was very nicely equipped and decorated, with a comfortable bed and absolutely magnificent views from the enormous, well furnished terrace. We could hardly wait to come back to the apartment in the late afternoon so that we could sit on the terrace, sip our rose wine and enjoy the views. A bonus was that the terrace is equipped with a large retractable awning, so that if it was still hot when we returned, the awning provided us with welcome shade.
We were so taken with the terrace that we opted to eat on the terrace, rather than go out for dinner, six nights out of the nine we were there. The small supermarket, Casino in the newer part of Eze below the village had all we really needed to make a good dinner and, of course, lots of rose wine!
The apartment was very clean and everything worked well. The owners were very thoughtful - when we arrived at the apartment, we saw a large vase of fresh flowers and the fridge contained wine, milk and water. I was also very impressed with the service at the end of our stay as a representative of the owner arrived the evening before we left with our damage deposit in cash. The caretaker, Gilles was very helpful when I couldn't figure out how to properly close the washing machine door. The common areas of the building, including the pool, were immaculate.
The apartment is in an excellent location for exploring the many sights, towns and villages nearby and Nice is an easy drive away.
Needless to say, the description of the apartment and its amenities is accurate. We hope to come back here to stay in the future. We didn't want to leave!
