We are pleased to offer two luxury self-catering apartments in this Edwardian building, located close by the River Thames, with the world-famous Tower of London literally across the road, and the iconic Tower Bridge as our backdrop.

Our two-bedroom apartment can comfortably sleep up to 6 people, Plus an additional travel cot - appropriate for a baby up to 18 months’ old - available on request. Our one-bedroom apartment is bright and spacious, accommodating up to 5 people, again with travel cot available on request.

The Tower Hill location is ideal for both business and leisure visitors alike. For business visitors, the City of London financial district is on our doorstep. For leisure visitors, Tower Hill’s environs are steeped in history, from Roman times onwards, through the invasion of William the Conquerer, to the terrible exploits of Jack the Ripper, a short distance east in Whitechapel. We then come right up to the present-day architecture of the Shard and the Gherkin, both of which are within less than a mile’s radius and easily accessible, by public transport, taxi or on foot.

The area is well served by literally 100's of local restaurants to suit all budgets and sophisticated wine bars and London pubs. Sight seeing and the Theatres of the WestEnd are easily accessible by tube, bus or short cab ride. Estuvimos pasando un fin de semana en este apartamento totalmente equipado y con unas vistas espectaculares. Al lado de la Torre de Londres y con pubs, pizzerías y otros locales en la misma calle a ambos lados del portal. Autobuses y metro a unos 100 metros.
La atención por parte de Martin fue exquesita.
Solo un problema: el tráfico rodado de la calle puede resultar molesto a quien no esté dispuesto a madrugar o esté acostumbrado a dormir sin ningún tipo de ruido.

OUTSTANDING APARTMENT

We stayed in the one bedroom flat with our 16 month son for 4 nights. We had a truly wonderful time. The apartment is perfectly located literally across the street from the Tower and has a wonderful view of the Tower, Tower Bridge and the Thames (the pics are not fake!!! :) ). Transport is is readily available from the tube, DLR, the Thames water taxis and bus--it's too easy to get anywhere in London from here. Ample restaurant options and a grocery store are within walking distance. The apartment was immaculate, the building is secure and the kitchen is well appointed with dishwasher and washer/dryer if needed. A Pack n Play-type baby cot is available, just bring your sheets. Martin met us late (we didn't get to the apartment until nearly 10PM) and gave us a great overview of the place, the amenities and the neighborhood. He gave us great advice about London and supplied us with some groceries (milk, OJ, bread, butter) too--a great touch for a family arriving late with a young kid--didn't have to worry about a late night grocery run. Can't recommend the place enough; we'll likely come back for our next stay in London.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind remarks. We try hard to accommodate guests who have small children and who might arrive late in the evening tired and hungry. We are so lucky to be surrounded by lots of restaurants and cafe's which provide so much choice and cater to any budget. Its great that guests can simply just cross the street and find lots of choice close by because if you have spent the day sight seeing most people would rather not have to venture too far away from home in order to have a lovely meal at a reasonable price.
I'm pleased that the additional baby cot worked well for you and that my briefing when you arrived helped to orient you so that you could make the best use of your time in London.

We would be delighted to welcome you back to London in the near future and maybe next time you will plan to spend a little more time as there is so much to see and do in this wonderful city, which I am proud and fortunate to call my home town ;-)

WONDERFUL STAY - GREAT APARTMENT!

We just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay in the one bedroom apartment. The four of us (myself, my husband and our two teenage sons) really enjoyed the apartment and its spectacular view and location! It was extremely comfortable and fully outfitted with everything we could want, including a great welcome package. Martin met us and walked us through everything, as well as gave us lots of information about the area, places to eat and things to see. The location and transpotation links are outstanding - Tower Hill tube stop is just around the corner, and the bus to Trafalgar Square runs right past the front door. The Docklands Rail is also close, as is the water taxi dock at the Tower of London. It was a quick walk over Tower Bridge to get to Southwark. There are grocery stores about a five minute walk away, and immediatly downstairs is a pub, Starbucks, Pret a Manger and Pizza Express. The area is very safe and the building very secure. We used the kitchen facilities mostly for breakfast, and really appreciated having a dishwasher and laundry faciltities. We simply loved this apartment - it made our trip quite special and we hope to return soon. Thank you Martin!

WONDERFUL APARTMENT, GREAT LOCATION.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in London, thanks in great measure to the extremely positive experience we had renting the one bedroom apartment at Trinity Square from Martin. The building was secure. The apartment was very roomy and the view of the Tower was stunning. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and equipment we would need if we wanted to cook (which we didn't).Even though there were only two of us, the apartment would still be very comfortable for four people. Particularly appreciated the dishwasher, washer/dryer and separate stall shower. Martin was an excellent host, meeting us at the predetermined time and showing us how to use everything in the apartment. He went above and beyond, spending some time acquainting us with the neighborhood and mentioning particularly good restaurants that we should try. He also gave us some very good tips on using the transportation system (busses and underground) which saved us time and money! We also appreciated the basket of goodies which he so graciously left for us.

This was our first experience with VRBO and we were thoroughly impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and would rent it again should we return to London.

ANOTHER PERFECT STAY

We are just back from a 6 night stay with our 2 children in this 1-bedroom flat, and we absolutely loved our experience. We tried to book the two bedroom in January, since we had stayed there in the past and loved it. Despite trying to book it 6 months in advance it was taken, no surprise, given Martin's hospitality, the location, and the views. Martin offered the one bedroom instead, he made sure we had more than sufficient bedding on the fold out beds.

The location and views are as advertised - perfect view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, a 2 minute walk through a small park to the Tower Hill Tube Station, the DLR station as well made for a quick trip to Canary Wharf where my office was or to the bus for great curry in White Chapel - transportation was simple with all options right there.

The interior of the flat was perfect, Martin had stocked plenty of provisions, including food for dinner, since our flight from the US arrived late in the evening. The beds, bathroom, kitchen, etc were all wonderful.

I rang Martin from Heathrow and he was there waiting for us at 22:30.
He also gave us great suggestions for the next day.

The area felt very safe at all times of day and night, and the building was quite secure. I had several nice jogs early in the morning around the Tower of London and then over Tower Bridge.

Having rented from Martin before and now having had another great success, I won't bother looking anywhere else for our next trip.

From our location on leafy Trinity Square you have many transport options including Tower Hill underground station (tube) which is located on the same Square (a 2 minute walk!) Lots of buses stop close by to take you all over the capital. All major airports are within a 45 min transfer time and London City Airport is just 20 mins on the Docklands Light railway. Being located on the river guests have the option of romantic evening strolls and the Thames river boat services from Tower Pier. The immediate area is well served by hundreds of restaurants & bars and there are 3 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk for those who prefer to use our fully equipped kitchen to eat-in.

Other Activities: Across the street from the world famous Tower of London & all major London attractions easily accessible by public transport, walking, river boat, or bus.
