About Val Metheringham
I purchased the Garden Cottage ten years ago as pied a terre while working for the BBC and it has remained our holiday home ever since. I have rented it with Homeaway ( Holiday rentals ) since 2008. The Terrace Cottage was purchased last year and has just undergone a complete renovation and is being rented for the first time this Spring.
Why Val Metheringham chose Richmond & Kew
The cottages are located in one of the loveliest streets in the area and are surrounded by stunning eighteenth century architecture, including two houses with blue plaques. There is no through traffic and it is just a short walk to the river with lovely riverside walks. A ten minute walk to Richmond Bridge and there is very good public transport. A tranquil setting, but in easy reach of shops, restaurants, theatres and cinemas and only 30 mins into the centre of London.
