This is a beautiful, newly renovated 2nd floor duplex apartment with open plan living area, exposed beams, a sweeping staircase and luxury bathroom with a bath and walk-in Italian shower.

It has been renovated to the highest standard using only the best materials and furnished with high quality contemporary furniture throughout - it has everything you could wish for when visiting Cannes for either a business trip or holiday.

The building is on the street immediately behind Quai Saint Pierre, the picture postcard part of Cannes and is less than 40m from the edge of the port.

Located in a truly French setting his sunny, south facing apartment is on the second floor of a traditional Cannois building. The apartment is ideal for a romantic getaway for couples but comfortably sleeps up to four people having one bedroom plus a comfortable sofa bed in the living area.

Note to rental rates: It is important to us that our apartment is spotlessly clean for your arrival. Beds are dressed with fresh white Egyptian cotton bed linen and plenty of clean white towels are provided for each guest. On your departure the apartment is checked and cleaned once again. For two week bookings linen and towels will be changed half way through your stay.

Arrival: • On your arrival at the apartment you will be met by our representative who will show you into the apartment and explain anything you will need to know during your stay.

The apartment is just a short 2 - 3 minute walk from the main bus terminal in Cannes where the coach direct from Nice Airport runs every half hour, the journey taking approximately 40 minutes, non-stop. The train station is approximately ten minutes walk from the apartment. Taxis are available directly outside the airport or we can arrange an airport transfer for you if you wish.

Children: The apartment is not suitable for crawling babies or toddlers due to the tiled staircase up to the bedroom and other steps up to the shower area as there are no child gates.

It is on the second floor with no lift so not accessible for wheelchair users.

There are also a few steps when entering the gated courtyard area from the street, these steps are original stone steps similar to those found throughout the old town of Cannes and are a little uneven, they may be a little difficult to negotiate for the very elderly/infirm.

The apartment is south facing and overlooks the large courtyard of a traditional building built in around 1890. The apartment building is on the street immediately behind Quai Saint Pierre, the 'picture postcard' part of Cannes and the entrance to the building is approx 40m from the edge of the harbour.

The location is ideal for either holiday or business as it is just 2 minutes walk to the beach and 6 - 7 minutes walk to the Palais des Festivals, home of the world famous Cannes Film Festival and many other conferences such as MIDEM, MIPCOM, MIPIM, MIPTV & Lions. You will not need a car as everything in Cannes is within easy walking distance.

The Boulevard de la Croissette with it’s designer boutiques and palm trees is just a few minutes walk as is Rue D'Antibes and Rue Meynadier ... shopping paradise.

  • Going up the staircase brings you to the double bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom, the large velux window makes it a very sunny room and there is plenty of headroom even though it is a 'loft-style' room. The bedroom is elegantly dressed and the modern furniture and accessories contrast beautifully with the exposed beams in this property. With a choice of KING SIZE BED OR TWO SINGLE BEDS it will be suitable for any of our guests but is ideal for a wonderful romantic getaway for couples in this vibrant town. There are 3 steps into a dressing room which contains all the wardrobe and shelf space you could possibly require plus a washing machine, iron & ironing board. Beds will be made up with fresh white bedlinen, just let us know the bed arrangement you prefer prior to your arrival. There is also a remote control operated air conditioning unit upstairs in the bedroom for those hot sunny evenings. The sofa bed in the living area sleeps two additional guests.

The living area has full air conditioning and beautiful old beams with feature staircase. Recently renovated and fully furnished with contemporary furniture including three seater white sofabed and white leather armchair with glass coffee table. The lounge area has a flat screen television with Livebox, DVD player and stereo system which has CD, Radio and ipod dock. There are a selection of books, films on DVD and music CD's in the apartment which you are welcome to use. The kitchen is beautifully finished in polished Oak with all new appliances: full oven with grill, halogen hob, extractor, full size integrated larder fridge and freezer plus dishwasher. There is a kettle, coffee maker and toaster along with everything else you could need for your stay. The glass dining table with seating for 4 people overlooks the courtyard area for enjoying those morning croissants with your fresh coffee.
