When hummingbirds compete for the balcony feeder it can be quite a show!

THIS QUAINT NANTUCKET WATERFRONT CHARMER was constructed by T.B. Balch in 1920, one of the original founders of Brinnon. It is the best way to observe nature including the prized Roosevelt 'Brinnon Elk' herd that sometimes visit the yard, or beach. Bald and huge golden eagles with amazing wing spans sometimes fly within 30 ft at eye level is truly something to behold, along with numerous bird varieties that are both beautiful and interesting to observe. Seal lions are sometimes quite playful, and you may even see some adorable seal lion pups. Cute river otters and beavers frequent our beach in addition to orcas on occasion.
