Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday condo in Cape Canaveral - Sea Oats
Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
A 30 day rental agreement is required by condo bylaws.
A ground floor charmer with an eastern patio and a walk across the yard to our dune bridge and the beach and ocean are yours.
Walk out the front door and the heated pool is fifty feet away on the right.
Light and listen to the crackle of the Sterno fireplace for a romantic evening. Coastal decor provides a warm comfortable atmosphere.
Orlando(read Disney, etc.) is 45 to 60 minutes to the west on great highways. Cape Canaveral and the Space Center are to the North. Casino ships have day trips and fishing Party Boats or smaller group charter boats out of Port Canaveral provide access to deep Ocean fishing.
An on site property manager keeps the landscaping and the premesis in perfect order.
We have a portable screen room in the 2nd bedroom that you can take to the beach for shade and stay there all day with our cooler. We have a small propane grill if you want to cook a steak or grill a fish you catch. I like broiling in the oven because of the controled heat.
We have a grocery cart in the storage room to the right of the elevator to help move your luggage or groceries from the car to the condo. It's shared with everyone in the building, so please put it back.
Check the photos for furnishings and and decor.
Bring some cold weather clothes if you come in the winter, we hit 32 degrees every 10 years or so, but pack plenty of shorts too. We have great weather and you can look that up on line.

I'm a veteran and my wife's an RN. We moved here in 2002. We fell in love with Cocoa Beach and the relaxed life style. We lived in Orlando when it was 150,000 population and had a time share oceanside to bring our thee daughters too for a week every year. I am retired and she still works in home health care.
We were living in West Palm Beach in 2002 and had a chance to both change jobs to the Cocoa Beach area. The girls were grown and building families of their own. We saw more of them and the grand children after we had this place. My oldest Granson was four when he told his mother 'I can do anything I want at Grandma's.
My first granddaughter cried when her mother came to pick her up after 2 weeks with us.
I was raised in the WV mountains but have always loved the ocean. Maybe you can tell.
My wife is a huge beach person, it works like giving her a tranquilizer. You can get a wind tunnel effect with the sliders and front door and/or the bedroom windows open. it will slam the front door. I always liked living East of work so the sun is at your back going and coming. That works just as well going to the attractions in Orlando.
Bring plenty of sunscreen and enjoy the down time if you live a hectic life style. You can get very lazy here and your appetite, if you use the ocean, is going to be huge. You can walk to a famous surf shop for beach wear or gifts the kids and grand kids will love. Hit the local grocery for fresh seafood if you don't want to catch it yourself or one of the fine restaurants if you don't want to use the kitchen. By 10am the sliders are in shadow and I wait till then to open the custom made verticles unless I go to the beach to fish. If you fish off the Cocoa Beach Pier you don't need a license, they rent rods and sell bait. Salt water fish have teeth and, pound for pound, out fight fresh water fish the same size.
