Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cabin in Hayward - Tiger Cat Flowage Cabin
1 bedroom plus sleeping loft, 1 full bathroom, adjacent cabin available.
This is not your everyday rustic North Woods cabin... but rather it's a beautifully restored rustic cabin, sited in a maple and birch forest overlooking a small wilderness lake with loons, otters, and bald eagles. The fishing, canoeing, and kayaking is superb on this clear water lake. Located within the Golden Triangle of the Hayward Lakes Region, our cabin is ten minutes from downtown Hayward, and five minutes from the Birkie ski trail and the CAMBA mountain biking trails. The attention to detail in the design and decor of the cabin is what makes this a rare find. The main cabin has a queen bed in the bedroom and twin beds in the sleeping loft. If needed, the adjacent Swedish cabin with twin beds can be rented.

Last year, we took my kids to Europe for 16 days. It was life changing, but exhausting.
This year the kids wanted a vacation in a cabin on a lake with a dock. I am so happy our family found your cabin on the Internet. According to them, it was exactly what they wanted.
We had two meals of fish from what we caught off your dock. My daughter read over 35 hours! We loved no cable TV, and bought $5 Walmart movies for 4 nights together.
I read 2 books and was refreshed from my frequently political job. My wife loved the fires each night, enjoying smores and hot dogs cooked over the flames with her kids.
We also enjoyed the Lumberjack World Championships and the quiet hospitality of Hayward, Wisconsin.
The raccoon that visited us nightly made quite a mess of our garbage on night 3, so we tied the garbage! But we enjoyed him looking in through the door each night.
The family of Loons called each night. We even watched them feed their young two nights.
The cabin was clean and inviting. We had everything we needed. And the lake, because it is smaller, was very quiet -- which was a huge bonus.
Warmest regards and thanks from the Eckhoff's. You have a treasure in this cabin and we enjoyed sharing it.
