Hanalei Bay Villa #29 is situated above a tree top canopy revealing an expansive view of the awe-inspiring North Shore Mountains adorned with waterfalls and often rainbows. The house also opens onto the ocean bluff, within sight of the dazzling blue Pacific and trail access to a hidden beach below.
Just beyond the front door is a scenic overlook blessed daily with a spectacular sunset over Mt Makana and which provides an ideal vantage point to witness humpback whales breaching and world class surfers in the breaks just off the coastline. Of course, the sparkling Pacific colors are always brilliant and, at times, you are likely to see dolphins, sea turtles, and an occasional monk seal.
There are three beautiful public beaches within close walking distance. A steep but short hiking trail leads to Hideaways a/k/a Pali Ke Kua which is ideal for basking on the warm golden sands or resting under the large shade trees. This 300' stretch of beach is divided by a rock outcropping and offers great snorkeling and coastal views. Pu'u Poa Beach on Hanalei Bay, another beautiful sandy beach located in front of the St Regis Princeville Resort, can be accessed by a staircase or resort elevator. Follow the foot trail around the bay and during low tide you can wade across the Hanalei River to Hanalei Pier & Beach Pavilion. Here you can rent sea kayaks, boogie boards, surf boards and stand-up paddle boards to play on the bay.
Within the Princeville community you will also find gems such as Queen’s Bath, Sea Lodge Beach, Wyllie Beach, and the award winning Prince and Maka'i golf courses. A full service spa, jogging path and fitness circuit; community tennis, basketball and volleyball courts are also close by. The Princeville shopping center offers grocery store, gas station, specialty boutiques, art galleries, fine-dining restaurants, and casual outdoor cafes.
Truly, all the wonders of the North Shore are within two to twelve scenic miles of the villa; including the pristine Na Pali Coast and the Kalalau Trailhead, the quaint town of Hanalei, Limahuli National Tropical Botanical Gardens, Kilauea Lighthouse, and many more hiking trails and beautiful beaches to explore.
This completely remodeled villa includes state-of-the-art kitchen, contemporary baths, high-end furnishings, and luxurious bedding. Numerous louvered windows with 3M UV protection film, cooling trade winds, ceiling fans, and cathedral ceilings keep the home bright, fresh, and comfortable. A/C in the master suite and second bedroom for additional sleeping comfort if desired.
