About this property

This is an absolutely beautiful and very comfortable apartment, located in the 7th district, which is the heart of Budapest's night and cultural life, also very near to the synagogue.
In this district you will find the famous 'ruin bars', and countless other clubs, restaurants, cafes, little specialty stores, open air markets…
It is also located within a 5 to 7 minute walk to Andrassy utca, where you will find all the major designer shops and the beautiful Opera House.
Being in the heart of the night life district, this is not the best location for light sleepers as on weekends there will be a lot of animation. However, that holds true for most of the city center.
The apartment has two bedrooms, a full bath with a shower, toilet and sink, and a separate half bath with a second toilet and sink.
The sofa-bed in the living room converts into a very comfortable double bed, so the apartment sleeps comfortably up to 6 adults.
The kitchen has all the appliances, pots and pans, plates, glasses and cutlery needed.
There is a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and a hair dryer.
Linens and towels are also provided, as are basic pantry items to get you started.
The apartment has free wi-fi and cable TV.
There is a nice little communal garden to the back of the building where it is lovely to sit and have a cigarette, read a book or relax at any time.

Nice place, great location

It is a very nice, spacious place. I did however misread what 1 and half bathrooms mean, no bath! So it’s basically a shower room and a tiny loo. That said the place is superbly located and Kate was great. Thanks very much

Excellent apartment and great value

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we booked and received detailed communication / instructions, to meeting the host upon arrival and enjoying the apartment for the 5 days we were in Budapest. The decoration is stunning and feels like you are in a luxury hotel suite with chandeliers / contemporary wallpaper. The location is perfect for the Ruin Bars / museums / restaurants and is about 10/15 minute walk from the Danube River. Everything that you needed for your stay was there, including some cupboard items / cutlery / plates / glasses etc. The kitchen was high quality including integrated appliances. All in all, this apartment is outstanding value for money and is a credit to its owner. I will definitely be returning to Budapest and hopefully will be able to stay here once again!

Lovely stay, beautiful apartment, very well located to famous ruin bars. Excellent communication too. Would highly recommend! Go to Szimpler Kert a block away! Amazing set of interconnecting bars!

Very nice apartment in a great location

Stayed for three nights with 5 other friends and we had a great time. Location wise it is perfect, especially for the nightlife, which is one of the main reasons we came out here. The famous Ruin Bar Szimpla Kert is on the parallel road to the apartment and a 2 minute walk away, with all the other clubs/ruin bars not too much further out. A lot of good restaurants dotted around and you're close enough to the center to see most of the sights in Budapest, which we did during the day. With a Spar and Tesco a couple of minutes away it gives you the perfect opportunity to stock up the apartment. Would definitely recommend this apartment and Budapest!

Modern Apartment

The apartment location is ideal and the top ten attractions of Budapest are certainly all within walking distance or a small trip on bus/metro. For a small apartment the space is very well laid out and it is elegantly decorated and fitted. The wifi and LCD TV was very good. During our 18 nights stay there were some plumbing issues with leaking waste pipes and a foul smell in the shower room. Unfortunatley, Both beds in the apartment had maintenance issues. The kitchen is only basically equipped with utensils for self-catering. The knives were not very sharp, there was no vegetable peeler, not ideal for a self-catering set-up. The noise levels in the master bedroom and living area are extremely high and lasted from 9pm to 5am on at least three days of the week - get some ear plugs or sleep in the guest bedroom. Jacqueline and her assistant were very considerate and gracious hosts and it was a pleasure dealing with them. Very much enjoyed the Budapest experience and would certainly visit Budapest again
