Vizcaya has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, balcony and an outdoor pool. This newly built (2011), elegant, comfortable and luxurious condominium is located in the heart of Cable Beach, offering walking distance proximity to deserted beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and public transportation.
THE CONDO: The spacious living room has a view of the pool and is fully loaded with a flat screen TV, Blue-Ray Player and surround sound theater system and Cable TV. The condo is furnished in the British Colonial style with comfortable plush sofas and solid wood furniture and fully wired for WiFi Internet. The modern, well-equipped kitchen with GE stainless steel appliances is located just behind the living room. The dining room is located in the kitchen area and opens onto the balcony. The master bedroom is spacious with a luxury bathroom and walk in shower. The second bedroom, located just off the living room has its own bathroom. They both offer comfortably designed furniture and modern amenities including in-suite laundry. The pool, with its surrounding terrace, is well exposed to enjoy the sun. The balcony is also blessed with sunny mornings and early afternoons, natural shade during the hot late afternoon and a nice ocean breeze.

FOOD/RESTAURANTS: There is a strip plaza about 500 ft away with a Super Value grocery store, a Wendy’s and Royal Bank. Two great French restaurants are in Sandyport. Further food options a little further east on West Bay Street include several restaurants (Thai, Pub, Italian and French), City Market Grocery Store, and Starbucks. The #10 Jitney bus goes by on West Bay Street into town or out towards Cave’s Point. The Crystal Palace Casino is a 5 minute drive away.
BEACHES: All beaches in the Bahamas are public access (even the hotel beaches). There are numerous small secluded beaches on West Bay Street going both east and west. The biggest beaches are: directly on Cable Beach (there are several beach access paths along West Bay Street including to the hotel beaches) a 5 minute drive away. Other options include, Caves Point, Love Beach and Travellers Rest – these require a short 10 minute bus or car drive westward on the island. There is also Paradise Island Beach (there is a public access right beside the RIU Hotel (not many know this) – this beach is a must see! If you have a car it’s pretty easy to get to, or you can take the #10 bus into town and take a boat or taxi to Paradise Island. If you want to do stuff like Jet Ski’s, Parasailing etc that can be found on Cable Beach and Paradise Island Beach.

Hotels are expensive and we like the 'local' experience and going to a familiar place. Plus, beware of those hotel fees and taxes, what may sound like $120 a night, turns into $300 very quickly when they add those resort fees and energy recovery fees.
This condo is brand new with upgrades and finishes that you would find in a large metropolitan city. It sits in the perfect spot, a quiet and safe neighbourhood (gated), walking distance to beaches and the grocery store and is in the heart of one of the nicest parts of New Providence - Cable Beach, with restaurants, sights and adventure only a short distance away. We can also help you arrange for a discount on a car rental - just ask us once you have booked.
The condo was excellent! Clean, Modern, Great Location, Safe. And Tom was excellent to do business with.
Condo was as advertised - luxurious, with a fully equipped kitchen and living room. Condo was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Not much of a view though - a school on one side and a vacant lot on another but after spending the days on the beach/water, it didn't matter. No need for a car since the bus route is only a 10 minute walk away. The grocery store is even closer. Wifi not working - had to hook laptop to the modem.
We were surprised to see that this condo is indeed brand new. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and lazy afternoons on the balcony. Walking distance or a short bus ride to mostly everything. Will stay again!
