This house is the perfect headquarters for a weekend adventure in the Seeley-Swan Valley!
Seeley Lake is minutes away and the house offers private access to public land. Holland Lake, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Swan and Mission mountains are all a short drive away!
The Swan valley and Mission mountains are beautiful year round and full of wildlife. In the spring and summer you can hike, fish, boat, swim, and view wildlife and native plants. After a day outside relax on the porch, build a campfire or warm up by the woodstove.
The house is on a wooded acre bordering public land, 1 1/2 miles from the lake and local businesses. Large picture windows offer views of the woods and wildlife.

Leif is a Montana native and Katy moved here from Tennessee 5 years ago when Leif refused to leave Big Sky Country.

Leif first fell in love with Seeley 10 years ago while working for the Forest Service. He bought an acre as soon as he could and soon we were building a house!
Our house is perfect for a relaxing weekend in a rural setting, or as a jumping off point for day trips to nearby lakes and mountains.
After days of rugged outdoor fun, it was so nice to return to the calm of this spot in the woods. We've stayed here winter and summer, sometimes for a week or more, and it has always been wonderful. Wood stove, pine tree breezes, two porches for sitting on, woods out the back door to explore, comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen (cast iron skillet!), responsive and caring owners. We'll definitely be back!!!
What a great cabin! We stayed here with our two babies for a few nights in January and had everything we could possibly need - plenty of blankets, lots of chopped wood for the wood stove, maps, and kitchen supplies, to name a few. The cabin layout was great for our family: when the babies were sleeping upstairs we were able to relax downstairs by the fire to read or play games.
The cross country skiing trails were incredibly close, just out the door. We brought a sled for our kids and found a great hill in the backyard.
Thank you so much for a terrific stay! We'll be back!
We had an amazing weekend in Seeley, filled will snowmobiling and hanging out in the house...I cannot believe how beautiful the house was and how beautiful the area that we got to ride was. I hope to be able to visit again!
The house was perfect for our weekend stay--comfortable, close to all other locations, and convenient. We loved it! Thanks so much!
What a GREAT choice we made by staying at this rental. We were a bit concerend about getting to the cabin due to the large amount of snow that Seeley gets, but the roads were well maintained. The cabin was more spacioius than the pictures made it appear. Comfortable furniture, nice open downstairs, comfortable beds upstairs as well as a nice play area / sleep area for the kiddos. In total we had 5 adults and 2 kids and never felt like we were stepping on each other toes. The house is nicely furnished and equipped with everything that we needed. The bathroom was spacious and had a nice assortment or shampoos and such for if we had forgotten them. Plenty of seating for all of us to get together and visit / dine / play games. My family was visiting from SC and they agreed that this cabin was a GREAT choice to stay at. Everyone was absolutely delighted. The owner was very quick to respond to any of my emails and questions. This was my first VRBO rental and everything worked out perfectly! Thanks Katy!
I had the great pleasure to spend months at this home. From the first moment I walked in, I felt at home. The place was clean, decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Not only did the house have a great feeling but the entire community was warm and welcoming.
The best part of this home is the back yard. I have spent hours watching wildlife and the trees in the back. You can get caught up in the natural beauty of Seeley Lake. I recommend hiking and exploring the area.
The owners of the property were always available to help me along with the neighbors. I highly recommend this property.
Backcountry and Nordic XC skiing, 4-wheel/snowmobile trails nearby, huckleberry picking, 5 minutes to Seeley Lake, 15 minutes to Blackfoot River, 30 minutes to Bob Marshall Wilderness trailheads
