Conveniently located on Highway 41 and just minutes from Yosemite's southern entrance, our spacious family-friendly modern mountain home offers comfort and privacy, a unique connection to local history and even the nostalgic sounds of the nearby Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.

Our 2800 square-foot mountain home borrows from the Swiss Chalet style using local, authentic century-old trestle wood beams. The open architecture offers your extended family or friends all the living space you will need, plus the modern comforts you would expect, for that unforgettable trip to the Yosemite area.

Great home, beautiful views

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at the Trestlewood Chalet. The home is in a great location to explore Yosemite and I got accolades from the family for "selecting well." The home was spacious and had everything we needed. The views from the deck were amazing, as well as from the numerous windows in the home. The drive up to the home is steep and I particularly appreciated the warning that it might be difficult to maneuver in snowy conditions (which we did not experience). The home is fairly secluded and you are barely aware of anyone else being around. There were numerous dining options available in the area as well. Would definitely stay here again if we make it back to the valley!

Wonderful choice for big family!

We had a great time! The house has been playing a big role in another family’s life and one can tell that this isn’t just used for VRBO renting. This makes so much more enjoyable than staying at a corporate/sterile house. Thanks for a great stay!

I couldn't believe the loveliness of the Trestlewood Chalet. Beautiful lighting, sparkling clean, comfortable, well appointed with niceties. Exceeded my every expectation. And it was perfectly located near the park.

Yosemite stay

everything was great besides a few minor things. 1. spiders/bugs 2. throwing away your own trash 2miles away from the house. but i wouldn't ding them for that. overrall a great stay and host.
