Beautiful apartment in fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment which is right in the centre of Howth. Right beside the Train and into city centre within 20 mins. Lovely quaint restaurants and bard nearby with plenty to do in Howth itself. Could not fault the accommodation, will stay again.

Clean, comfortable and close to amenities

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the apartment for a few days before the Christmas holidays and again in February. We had such great time we came back and stayed again. Its close to the city without the hustle and bustle outside your window, right in the heart of Howth with lots to see and do and some really good restaurants and bars within a 2 minute stroll. The apartment had everything we could ask for and easily accessible, we did not have any of the code or construction problems as previously mentioned on a previous post, on either stay.

Lovely location but....

  • 2 of 5

Our first impression of our stay was horrible. The code that was provided to us from Linda did not work and would not open the gate nor the entry door to the building. Thankfully we arrived around 3pm so there were others from the building who were gracious enough to let us in. We spent almost an hour outside the building and because we were travellers we had no phone to contact the owner from outside. A lovely lady from the building was nice enough to give us the new codes to the building that had been changed in June but never passed along to us. As others have stated, the place is a great location, close to some lovely restaurants and fish markets but for me the trouble getting in and wasting our time was not worth the stay. The pictures of the front of the building are NOT the building you are staying in and the lovely picture of the water is not a visual from the flat which is located at the back of the building. There is construction going on in the building directly beside this one... it was quiet while we were there as they were pouring the foundation but you may want to take this into consideration if your looking for peace and quiet.

Very pleasant

very well equipped apartment. The proximity to the port and the railway are a big plus. I will come back in any case and bring friends.
